The Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA), rebranded UKIE, will sponsor the Develop Quiz and Develop Football Challenge, it has been announced.
The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment (UKIE) was officially launched in London and will back the events in a bid to facilitate connections with development firms.
More than 20 teams will participate in the Develop Quiz, which is scheduled to take place on September 29 at Sway, Holborn, London.
The high-profile event is expected to be attended by as many as 200 developers. UKIE is supporting the event in collaboration with Big Head Games.
Other firms taking part in the event include Rocksteady, FireFly, HotGen, Splash Damage, Blitz, Spov, Wonderland, Centroid, Maverick, Playfire, Jagex and Vertical Slice.
