Action-adventure video game Yakuza 4 will be launched in Europe in spring 2011, developer Sega has confirmed.
The PlayStation 3-exclusive title, which was released in Japan in March this year, is finally scheduled to be introduced in the western markets.
The European Sega blog reads: "Four is a very powerful number. In this particular instalment as not only will you experience the gritty atmosphere of Kiryu Kazuma's experiences, three other characters will also be available to play. Each of them with their own engaging backstory and a gripping interwoven plot."
The first game in the series was launched in Europe 15 months after its Japanese release, while Yakuza 2 took almost two years to reach European retail stores. Yakuza 3 hit Europe 13 months after its Japanese launch.
The fifth instalment is likely to be the last game in the series.
