Smooth talker!

Got one of these to go with my Razer Diamondback mouse. Have had the mouse in fact love the mouse for over a year, and after a few panicky moments on the PC Battlefield2 front I though lets get a proper mat.

This mat was obviously designed to work with Razer high DPI mice as the mouse communicates better than any thing I have ever used.

The mat is made out of sheet aluminum I pressume with low profile feet on each side. There are no comfort gel pads on this mat, and the only down side is that the side of your hand can get cold, if like me you rest your hand partially on the mat.

Other than that it is ace!

There is a gel pad

There is actually a gel pad but this is the version that does not include one because it is not actually connected to the mat.

Best Mousepad Out There, Make Sure You Get The Gel Wrist-Rest

There is a gel pad you can get for this mouse mat, I don't know if you can buy it separate, but the best thing about this mouse mat is the gel wrist rest, other than a 100% accurate surface however fast or accurate you want. get the eXactMat Bundle which has the gel pad included, Razer FTW.

It's ok
review by: Benjamin Fielding os: Windows XP

it's ok well actually thats a bit of a lie, both sides are dead accurate, BF2 killing got a whole lot easier the only down side is it wears the teflon pads down really quick, which also means it leaves a residue over the surface this means that your mouse sometimes does not detect the laser, had mine about six months before the first probs, scrub it down with some baby wipe's and you'll be fine, the Gel pad is so comfy get the bundle as the gel part stops the mat sliding around, excellent buy.

worth it

using this was a complete revelation. I have a Logitech laser mouse at work, and bought this to go with a Razer Deathadder for home, and will now buy another one for work too. mice move so easily and accurately on this, compared to a wooden desk surface, or spongey mouse mat, it's an absolute joy to use. it might seem a lot of money for a mouse pad, but if you're either into gaming, or spend a lot of time using a mouse at work, it's so nice to use you won't regret spending the cash!

might be worth trying to find the version that comes with the gel wrist rest too for not much more.

Does the job

When I got my Copperhead and this mousemat with the gel wrist rest I was like 'maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan' now after having it for more than half a year it is still in pretty much the same condition, except that the mouse seems to've gained a bit of grip on the skates, however you get a second pair with the mouse! I have played many games with this mouse mat and the Copperhead, and all I can say is that it TRANSFORMED HL2 for me as well as making most other games more of a pleasure to play. One thing though - I find it a bit too slippery for BF2 - so if you wanna play that I suggest that you get the Razer Mantis instead, but for everything else this mousemat is very good!

Expensive?
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

Please note that I've never used one of these so I can't give any feedback on it.

However, I was undecided a long time about whether to buy this or not as I needed a new mouse mat to go with my Razer Diamondback Plasma. At about £25, I decided not to buy it, and instead I bought a Razer Mantis mouse mat, which is huge and accurate, and only costs £15.

Unfortunately I was not able to find one for sale on eBuyer (5/12/06) so was forced to get it elsewhere.

£25 seems a little extreme for a mouse mat, particularly when there are perfectly suitable alternatives, which is why I recommend you check out the Razer Mantis mouse mat if you haven't already done so :)
