Easier than I thought for a laptop

I installed this 512mb into the spare slot of a Toshiba Satellite Pro A10 which already had 256mb. I used the Kingston website to check the memory details against the Toshiba manual.

It was pretty easy following the instructions provided. Remove battery, remove memory compartment cover, insert memory, replace cover and battery and start her up.

The memory was spotted as soon as the laptop came back up. The only extra thing I did was increase the swap file size.
