Great for size and price

Windows XPWhat can I say? These are great!
I spend a lot of time on the road, so having small kit to travel with is essential, personal speakers have always eluded me due to there required size to gain anything like a decent sound stage.
The GigaWorks looked, on paper at least, to offer a compromise.
Well it has to be said, theres no compromise, these speakers are light very portable and sound great! The bass response is more than enough to satisfiy most listeners, this is partly due to their enclosure design and the "Long throw" main driver. Highs are a little over pronounced but controllable.
If used in medium sized rooms, these speakers should prove more than ample for most users.
If you looking for a great sounding portable speaker soloution, then look no further!
These are very rounded and would prove great company to an IPOD or other MP3 playback device.
Sure there more expensive than you would expect to pay for a 2.0 system, but the sound quality more than makes up for their cost.
Recomended! *****
A Solid Speaker System
os:
Not ApplicablePowered by 12V AC 2.9Amp power adapter these speakers are 14 Watt speakers per channel (SN 80db 50-20kHz). Each speaker has a 12x8cm footprint and are 23cm tall coupled together by a 200cm long cable. This allows a seemingly huge separation (not so good for mp3 players) but good if your planning to use it for your wide screen tv or something. Connectability is impressive. With a standard hands free kit and a Sony Eriksson W810i I managed to create a simple and effective mp3 playing audio system. But any device should be connectable if it has a 3.5mm Stereo jack. Package comes with a male-male 3.5mm jack, a shorter 50cm 3.5mm male-male stereo auxiliary cable and a Dual RCA (female) to 3.5mm stereo (male) adapter (for a TV, dvd player or whatever).
The 3 knobs on the front panel (right speaker) allow Bass, Treble and overall volume to be changed simply. If i had to pick a downside to these speakers (other than the cost) then if would be the blue led between the headphone and aux in socket. But this is a minor problem for me and comes down to personal preference.
If you’re thinking of buying a mid range 2.1 systems then I would put serious thought into these speakers instead. You won't regret it. A solid build, impressive sound. Cost could be a problem for some but for me they are worth every penny!
Creative GigaWorks T20

Windows XPHello.
Ordered these speakers from ebuyer.co.uk as an early christmas present for my self. As always, Ebuyer top class. Had a little upset with the deleivery but no problems. A* ebuyer!
Anyway, for the speakers! They came well packed in a Creative box. I immediately opened the box up and was firstly amazed to see the size of the speakers. They're much bigger than i thought but they definately looked good! They have a very solid design and are weighted well. I wired them up with the gold plated connectors that were in the box and starting them up.
I went straight into my music and played some. At first, i wasn't impressed. They sounded poor. I fiddled around with the bass and Treble using the front controllers and the sound card options. I then read on a website that the speakers atune over time. In other words, when you first buy them, they may not sound very good. They sound better overtime, which is so very true. After a couple of hours of playing, they sounded amazing. The bass they can pump out is amazing. Really loud sounds without distortion and crystal clear sound quality. I am a very happy owner of these speakers.
I'd recomend them to anyone who wants 2.0 sound for gaming and music, as they're first class.
Pros:
Amazing Sound Quility
Good design, nicely weighted
Easy to use front controls
AUX and headphone at front
Cons:
Large plug!
I really couldn't recomend these enough, just beware that it comes with a large plug, that is very heavy and spreads out accross other plugs. If you have an plug tray you won't have any problems.
Overall 5 stars for these speakers. Creative have done a very good job with these speakers and i'd recomend them to anyone!!
Great Speakers

Not ApplicablePurchased these to replace one of the cheap 5.1 Speaker Sets bundled with a PC and i'm very impressed:
- Awesome sound quality
- They look brilliant up close (especially with the grilles off), pictures cant really do them justice
- Tiny footprint on your desk
- Aux input & headphone sockets
If you're like me & don't bother setting up the surround speakers of a 5.1 Set then you should definitely consider these an alternative!
I-trigue 2.1 3200 speakers for sale!
os:
Windows XPBought these to replace I-Trigue 3200 2.1 speakers which can be annoying poor in quality when listening to music. These 2.0 speakers sound superb when listening to classical or electronic music, and the stereo imagery is excellent for movies like Star Wars. Though not a pure audiophile product these speakers have transformed my laptop and mp3 player, and they are ideal for family holidays.
The only minor fault I could detect was some slightly muddled reproduction on some rock tracks, but it is tolerable. Great value nevertheless, top marks.
More like two mini 1.1 speakers on either side of your PC/Laptop...
os:
Windows XPI just received the speakers from ebuyer: No problems with delivery or any blemishes on the product, as expected, and as usual.
The speakers themselves are much "bulkier", although this wasn't a surprise. The dimentions, as stated, are larger than normal 2.0 systems.
However, they do sound remarkable. I just unplugged my Creative 5.1 system, just to check these out, and I am quite surprised that they do compare very well. Having said this, these speakers save a lot of space, as there is no need for extensive wiring, and a place to keep the even more space consuming subwoofer. This does away with all those problems, seemingly without any compromise in sound quality.
And I do agree with everyone who has previously said that the photos do not do these speakers justice. They are very well made, and go very nicely with my Sony TX1XP laptop (same height!). Blue LED suits the rest of the speaker. Perhaps I would have prefered the Bass ports to be on the side or behind the speaker, so that I could keep something on top of them, but that is a personal preference many would disagree with anyway. It looks amazing otherwise.
The only downside I can possibly think of, is that there is no Auxiliary Input at the rear, but I was fully aware of this, and to be frank it's not even an issue. Just me trying to be fussy. All it means is I have to connect my iPod, which I have on a dock, through the front, with the white cable showing in front, rather tha hidden away behind it. To be fair, I'm glad that these 2.0 speakers even HAVE an auxiliary input.
Given the price, and quality of the product in satisfyting the senses, I think it is a worthwhile buy. Probably much better than the I-trigue L3800 2.1 system i bought a few months ago, at a higher price!
Definitely reccomended, but only after you've spent your money donating generously to charity organisations that really need them. People are dying from famine, disease and war. We aught to spend what God has blessed us with wisely. May peace be on you all...
Fantastic!

Not ApplicableThese beauties exceeded my expectations, they defy their looks - they sound very big and warm, though they're quite small - they really can go very loud with NO distortion whatsoever. If you dont have the room or want surround sound, this is the best way to experience 2-channel audio!
Amazingly good!

Not ApplicableFor a 2.0 system these are outstanding. I tried them in my study and they sound better that the creative 5.1's I already have. Even better, they don't pick up interference from my mobile phone the way that the pricier jobs do.
I can't believe that the base is so good without a separate base unit (that I don't have room for).
They now live in a good sized kitchen and fill the room with distortion-free sound. If Creative made a 4.0 or 5.0 version of these I would buy them tommorrow.
Excellent
os:
Windows XPI always wanted a pair of well designed, good quality speakers. These fit the bill perfectly. Not having a base unit is a great benifit too. It makes them truly transportable. The sound quality is crisp and clear at all levels. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of buying a pair of bose speakers who want to spend a little less.
2 is better than 5!
os:
Windows VistaIf like me you find the sound from 5.1 speakers annoying and disorientating, and you don't want miles of speakers cables trawling your room, then buy these speakers!
They really are excellent sound. I use mine for general computer use, playing movies and music, and high spec games like Oblivion.
The speakers look smart and sit on your desk and do the job you expect of them, without taking over the area and booming out at you.
I hate 5.1/7.1/8.1 speakers. Regular stereo is more than enough for most people's needs. If I want surround sound coming at me from all sides I'll go to the cinema.
For the home computer, I'll take these great little speakers. Great sound, great looks, and great value.
If I had one criticsm to make about them it would be the little blue power light. It is very bright blue. A bit too bright and dazzling. In short- chavy!
