A High Quality Mouse
os:
Windows XPI have always bought top quality mice, and this one is the best yet (although it is my first laser mouse).
I plugged into USB and straight away I had a smooth mouse. I then used the supplied USB-PS2 converter to plug into a KVM switch and in less than a second, both PCs recognised it!
It feels comfortable, it is light and glides around on a desk very nicely.
Top product.
Smooth
This mouse is very precise on the screen, i cannot fault it. It glide along my mouse mat much better than ANY mouse i have ever used before and it feels very nice on the hand.
I ordered this because i was fed up with wireless mice and messing around with batteries and having the cursor randomly skipping across the screen every now and then, no problems with this and the cord is plenty long enough no matter what desk you have so it doesnt restrict your movement.
my only gripe with this mouse is that i think it could have done with being a bit wider(i have big hands), but i said the same with my last mouse when i first got it and i got used to and felt very comfortable when i got rid of it.
MX 320 in SetPoint?
Hi,
Bought this mouse and it's great. Just wondering though - is anyones mouse detected as "MX 320" in the SetPoint software? Also, what is the P/N of your mouse? Mine is 631583-0914 (and underneath says Rev A1) but on the Logitech site it says the P/N is 931638-0914.
Having said that, the box and CD are labelled MX 400. Do I have the correct mouse?
Fantastic

Windows XPThis is my second mouse of this type. I will not go to other products. A little more costly but you only get what you pay for. Reliable to say the least. Very comfortable in the hand. Extra buttons too, If your a gamer, Then instead of going for "gaming" mice this is ideal for just that. This is the main reason for buying the mouse in the first place. VERY RESPONSIVE.

Awsome mouse

Not ApplicableI have been using cheap oem micefor a few years, I'd tried using optical mice before and was skeptical about this, till a friend explained the difrence between a lazer mouse and a standard optical mouse that is, now I wish I'd purchased one sooner.
For gaming this is effectivly 6 buttoned, back and forward on the side and the left/right tilt of the wheel can be asigned key bindings in the logitech control pannel, I mostly play Wow and some fps games, and for the first time in wow I've been able to have all abilities bound to mouse/keyboard (ctrl-alt modifier keys bound too the two side buttons) and do away with nooberific hotbar clicking, wonderfull! In fps games movement is much more smooth making targetting much easyer (BOOM! Headshot! =D)
I picked this up start of october and the price was 17quid +VAT, as of 21/10 it is now 29.99+vat that's one hell of a price hike.
5/5 from me, though I think at the current price you could pick up something a little better.
Best thing about it is . . .
os:
Not Applicable. . that, as well as being an excellent all-round mouse, the shape means that your wrist is at a more natural, relaxed angle - at 30 - 45 deg angle to the desktop, rather than having to rotate your hand inwards so that your palm is parallel to the desktop. Much more comfortable, and much less RSI- prone. As a result, though, it's really only suitable for right-handers.
Comfortable, works well
os:
LinuxWorks well on USB using the Xorg protocol "ExplorerPS/2" for me. But I haven't got the tilt wheel working yet.
Four stars because it's slightly pricey.
smoothest mouse yet...
os:
Windows XPThis is the best mouse I have ever had! Its my first laser mouse and I will not bother with opticals any more. Costs a bit more but I expect mice to last 4 years+ so not a real gripe.
Only one problem, I am using it on a laptop and the software seems to conflict with the trackpad software. This means that the tilt wheel does not work but I will get to the bottom of it!
Great mouse, doesn't wear out too well

Max OSXI've had this mouse for 10 months now, cannot fault its responsiveness or precision. However, the rubbery area wears out terribly, it looks like it's been used for 10 years! OK, I do use it 8-10 hours every day, but still, the last Microsoft mouse I've had didn't show the same wear & tear even after 2 years of use. Still, can't fault it in any other area.
No good for 3D apps.
os:
Windows XPBought this last week. It's good but no good for 3D apps like 3Ds Max. The middle button has tilt control so if you normally use that button to control the camera it's near impossible to press it without tiling slighting and triggering another command. I haven't been able to control the camera at all with this mouse, simple moves like orbiting around an object now take several attempts, each one stopping half way through.
