Really useful. Took apart my laptop and fixed it's faulty keyboard. The thing's been annoying me for the last 2 years! Now it's fixed. It real;ly was worth the money. I also have found a few uses for it around the house too. Plus it's fun to take electrical's apart. Oh! Yeah. nearly forgot. I took apart my xbox and fixed it! It is so wierd inside one. It looks like a PC, but with a really small mobo, and no ports, and 2 heatsinks. It's the original xbox. I plan on installing Linux on that xbox. Hopefully, it'll be interesting. Warranty is void, but it's a few years old, is the warranty still existant? The hard drive in an xbox is a PC hard drive. Mine is a Seagate.

This tool kit actually allowed me to take a games console down to the point where I could clean the laser lense with a Dyson, and put the entire thing back together again, no problem. Infact, since it previously wouldn't play game's, but now it does, it's actually a problem solved!

Basically, highly recommended.

Disclaimer (cause I know this won't be published without one!): Taking apart games consoles can lead to damage. And so, it is NOT advised that you try this at home.

Also, the debate on 'chipping' or 'modding' consoles; While just a few years ago, you used to be able to go out, buy a computer (yes, games consoles are computer's), take it home, and do what you want to it (since you own it). However, a new law was passed a couple of years ago, meaning that it is no longer legal. If you decide to mod your console, you may (about a 1 in 1,000,000 chance) face very mild leagal action from the person who designed the console, so again, do NOT do it.

Great presents

These make great presents for the hard-to-buy for,

They are REALLY good quality for the price (The inside is a properly formed foam container unlike cheap sets that use flimsy plastic inner cartons to hold the tools); And ontop if that, the tools are held in by elastic straps!

The box itself is of high quality too, It has a double hinge so it cannot break but completely flat (Again, Cheaper sets overlook this).

Overall, Great value, The tools are very well made.

May buy more for more people; They are great!

Suprisingly Good!

Very surprised by this piece of kit, while the case is a bit cheap looking (it is cheap after all...) the tools are great. Only downside is that while the screwdriver handle and shaft are magnetised the heads aren't! This can easily be remedied yourself (use a magnet).

The elastic straps make it better, at least the tools stay in the proper slot assigned to them.

For this price this is a bargain.

4 stars, one off for non magnestised heads and the cheap plastic case which will not last as long as the tools it holds.
