Cheap but not nasty
os:
Windows XPI brought these speakers to replace my dying Creative Soundworks 5.1 speakers and didn't want to splash out like I did before.
So I took the gamble on them, not knowing or finding much online about the makers, but you may find this helpful to know.
The satellites are like miniature speakers you’d expect for your hi-fi system and come with the cables sealed into the backs, I wouldn’t say they are mountable in the usual way that you can, more of balance them on stands and depending on how you like your speakers you can remove the fabric covers and look at the cones.
The subwoofer comes with phono connections on the back (Left/ Right front, Left/Right Rear, Centre and sub inputs), and the 5 connectors for the speakers it also has a main power off switch and a fuse. On the front it has a led graphic equalizer that changes colour through most of the spectrum! It has a power button to put the speakers on standby; you can select CD (2.1) or DVD (5.1) sound modes. It also features a mode button, which scrolls through the main, front, rear, centre and sub volumes respectively. And if you didn’t want to push the buttons on the front, then it comes with a remote control that does exactly the same!
Installation was simple enough and took only 5 minutes to whip the old speaker system out and install this system. The sound quality is pretty good considering the price and plenty of power without distortion, should you wish to deafen yourself (although I didn’t go to the max as it was too loud!)
The only problem I have experienced is the sub didn’t appear to work, but I changed the speaker settings on my soundcard (Creative Audigy 2) in the Bass Management and select Bass Redirect and now plenty of bass! Not a problem otherwise.
Absolutly Awesome!!

Windows XPThoroughly impressed with these speakers, for £30 they really are the mutts nuts!
V. quick and easy to set up, no installing or anything. The system really does look quite snazzy, although the sub is a lot bulkier than it looks in the photos, not really a problem just a surprise hehe.
The sound quality is crisp and clean, with no hiss or vibration coming from any of the speakers. The system is easily altered with the remote, changing the volume of all the speakers, individually, mute, power and button switching between 5.1 and stereo.
However I would like to point out that the sub isnt as shielded as I would like it to be, it interferes with my monitor but that may purely be due to being directly next to it and the monitor itself is old and not all too great itself hehe.
Volume-wise its certainly loud enough and even at high levels the sound quality remains, this is running with ebuyers very own ultra cheap £6 6 channel soundcard too, which is also worth a buy if you dont already have one!
Another handy tip I would suggest is to buy some audio extension cables as you may have difficulty getting your rear speakers into position, especially if hiding the cables. Only a few pounds, so shell out in caution and dont be dissapointed. The speakers do not have scew holes to mount them onto walls either which is a little a annoying...
However..
Well worth the 5 stars, even if the system cost more it would still be worth a good 5 :-D
Yatai 5.1 Black/Silver - Fantastic sounds for a cheap price
os:
Windows XPI recently purchased this speaker system and I can definately say that I am more than happy with the performance.
Sound - The sound quality is fantastic with crisp treble, rich mids and lots of nice deep bass. Yeah, they won't handle audio test CDs with peaks at 20-40Hz but from 50Hz upward they're just the job.
Looks - In my opinion they look really good. Clean lines, nice use of silver/black colour and the rainbow display is a real nice feature.
Set up - They were easy to set up and vey simple to use, especially with the remote always at hand.
Overall - I'd definately recommend these! 10 out of 10 After all, how can you go wrong at £30!
Very good value for money

Windows XPFirst of all the gear is well packed so damage in transit should be minimal. Provided you have a sound card on your pc that will take 5.1 set up is easy. You might need to bring up your sound cards configuration image showing you what colours ( on the back of your sound card) refers to rear, centre, sub etc but to be honest even if they aren`t coloured then by pluging them in and listening will solve it for you. The leads to the speakers are coloured coded so no problem there.
The speakers have cables built in that terminate in phonos that plug straight into the sub. You get phono leads + phono - 3.5 stereo adapters for use in pc but might just use the phonos for surround tv. The only extras leads you might need is a couple of phono ext cables for the rears(they are about 10` in length as supplied)Mine are rigged up to my MAXdata pc that I recently purchased from E buyer(the £400 dual core offer)
For £30 they are a bargain and the frontal display on the sub that changes colour is neat. The remote is a nice touch if like me you tuck the sub away under the desk. Sound quality is very good( that Maxdata pc has realtec on board that provides one of the best sound mixer and graphic stations I`ve seen on an on board sound card so playing with the 100 or so combinations provide great sound with good bass and decent treble from the front and rears. Made in China so you know it will work. A couple of years ago this would easily be £100`s worth.None of the speakers have fixing holes for wall fixing but it would be a breeze to fix a bracket on or fit small shelves. BTW you can switch the rig to stereo only and the remote has a mute button( a nice touch for the money)This won`t give you cinema deafening sound in your front room unless you have a small room like 12` sq( the type that hurts your ears:-)but in my study 8`x12` I can`t have them at full blast for comfortable listening. So far this is a fanatastic product at a bargain price and another great E buyer bargain. Don`t let them slip away or you`ll be sorry.
Absolutely amazing!!!

Not Applicablebought these about a week ago, but were not delivered due to city link faffing around and delivering them when I didn't ask for it, phoned ebuyer and they said they'll sort it out for me free of charge! and they did!! TOP MARKS EBUYER!
well the speakers, for 27 quid (the price went back up to 30 quid now) these are an amazing bit of kit!! the sound is awesome and very little distortion at high volumes.
In terms of quality, they are all wood enclosed and look very simple (black and silver) and smart! the bass is adjustable, so you can customise the sound the way you want to hear it!
Have tried this in 5.1 surround sound whilst watching a movie, and can honestly say that this system sounds AWESOME, explosions and guns have never sounded so good!
I can't stop raving about this product, have not stopped listening to it all night! i would highly advise that anyone buys this (whether on a budget or not!) price is no refelction of quality whatsoever.
All in all this sound system is very very very very very very very very good! buy it! you won't be disappointed!
GREAT SPEAKER SYSTEM

Not ApplicableI BOUGHT THESE TO SUPPLEMENT MY PLASMA TV. I HAVE NOT HEARD OF THE BRAND BEFORE, BUT FOR THE PRICE I'LL TAKE A CHANCE.
I WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED. SET UP WAS NO PROBLEM, ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT SET THE 5.1 SPEAKERS (USING AS 2.1 AT THE MOMENT) THE SOUND IS EXCELLENT.
THE BASS IS DEEP AND SMOOTH AND THE CAN PUMP SOME VOLUME OUT.
THERE ARE CONTROL BUTTONS ON THE FRONT PANEL, BUT THERE IS ALSO A REMOTE CONTROL. CONNECTIONS ARE VIA RCA.
THERE IS ALSO A SMALL BUT ATTRACTIVE SPECTRUM DISPLAY AT THE FRONT WHICH ALSO CHANGES COLOUR.
THE ONLY GRIP IS THAT THE POWER BUTTON IS AROUND THE BACK OF THE SUB WOOFER WHICH IS A BIT AWKWARD WHEN IN A TV STAND. YOU CAN USE THE REMOTE STAND BY BUTTON THOUGH.
WETHER YOU USE THEM AT 2.1 OR 5.1 YOU WON'T BEAT THESE AT THIS PRICE. BUY EM!!
THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE
os:
Windows XPi bought these speakers they look small in the picture but they r big there r four woofers in the box and five settilite speakers its not 33w
its 40w.the sound is incredible and the base is loud.
THE woofer is of 6"
Great Sound System

Not ApplicableI've been using this sound system for 1 month now, and for the price I've been blown away by the quality of the sound - I've used it with my HD TV, and the sounds it produces are breath taking at times. For the price, its by far one of the best value for money sound systems out there; unless your willing to shell out upwards of £150 for the 7.1 systems.
Well recommended.
Superb
os:
Windows VistaThese are excellent value for money - the sound quality is excellent and they are a doddle to set up.
The downside is that you can only have 1 device connected to them - there are 3 sets of inputs on the back, but these are to support any deviced, ranging from an ipod to a 5.1 souncard/DVD player.
All-in-all, an excellent buy!
WOW
