Extra Value Blue/Black 2.4Ghz Wireless Optical Mouse - Rechargable via USB
os:
Windows Vistaquite surprised how good this mouse actually is apart from the fact the charger has to be always connected by usb so the wireless works, as the receiver is the charger but the range on it is very good I could go upstairs and the mouse will still work seen as my laptop is downstairs, the only downside is the four buttons don't work but this might be vista not a problem tho but for the price u can't complain.
the mouse comes with empty battery's so a good 10 hour charge is needed plus drivers other than that is works perfectly and is a nice design.
Superb

Windows VistaThis mouse is superb. It has a look & feel beyond its price. I've not owned a wireless mouse before and had some apprehension regarding response, but this really works very well.
Plugging the mouse into a Vista machine (without installing the included XP drivers), the mouse is recognised, scroll wheel and browser forward/back buttons work fine, but the tertiary buttons for application switching don't. There'll probably be a driver update somewhere, but I'm quite happy without them.
One thing... a strange design flaw prevents the dock from charging completely flat batteries. It comes with 2 (flat) AAA NmH batteries which you will need charge first using an external charger - thereafter the dock charges the mouse as expected.
Overall for the price however, this has to be 5 stars.
Chalk another one up for ebuyer :-)
Extra Value Blue/Black 2.4Ghz Wireless Optical Mouse - Rechargable via USB

Windows VistaOverall impressed with this mouse for the price. Experianced the same problems as the other reviews - wouldn't charge on flat batteries and only 5 (Lb Rb scroll, PgBck, PgFwd) of the 9 buttons work with Vista. Another querk was the bonding process - normally with wireless you press the button on the receiver and the button on the bottom of the device. This didnt work for me. The instructions are not that clear but I think this just changes the operating frequency if you experiance interference (guess that could be either wireless network or your microwave oven both on 2.4Ghz) Anyway, pressing the receiver button and the left mouse button lead to a successful bond.
Another point worth mentioning is it works well on any darkish material e.g woolly jumper, jeans, arm chair.
Ive a HTPC with a wireless MS I/R mouse that is poor on uneven, non solid surfaces. This doesnt seem to care, the response is good on any material (even me woolly jumper). Will be ordering another so I can operate my htpc without moving from the comfort of my armchair.
Bit tricky to start but works fine now

Windows XPJust bought this mouse and had a bit of hassle getting it to work. Plugged it in and nothing happened. Then I installed the device drivers and still nothing. So I did a system restore to before I first plugged it in. Eventually the way I got it to work was to put the cd in but not install anything, then connect the mouse which then worked. Then I linked it in the usual way. One other thing though, the batteries that came with mine were fully charged (I think) as when I put them into the mouse, lights came on straight away. Also, does anyone know, when the red light starts flashing, does that mean the mouse is fully charged?
Some niggly bits

Windows VistaI've used this mouse for a good year or so now, I have been through about 4 of them, there are occasional times where the dock just doesn't work and doesn't charge the batteries, Ebuyer is fine to send out a replacement and just tell you to dispose of the current one. There are also problems with the additional center buttons where over use makes the base of them snap off and they end up falling off, I have some sellotape over the top center one as I like the mouse that much to continue using it (and that it's mapped for certain stuff in World of Warcraft)
You have to install the drivers to get the additional buttons to work, but be aware there is a problem that's known for this hardware which is the driver mousewd.sys occasionally gives the Blue Screen of Death and restarts your computer, it just triggers a system restart saying it's unstable but having lived with this intermittent problem, couldn't see anything majorly wrong.
cheap but not so cheerful

Windows XPI have had this mouse for a few months now and i couldn't really recommend it. I had loads of difficulties getting it to connect - instructions not helpful and the connection process it uses is different from most other devices of this kind.
Mouse has to be stored in docking station all the time as batteries drain in a few hours.
also, quality is pretty poor - ok its only a fiver but still my docking station fell to bits. on top of that it now won't charge batteries as it can't get the contact points lined up anymore!
