Ideal for a GeForce4 Ti card

I bought this because, unsurprisingly in view of its age, the fan on my Ti4600 was becoming noisy.

This cooler has eliminated that noise and lowered the temperatures at the system, PWM and cpu sensors too.

So now I can run the other fans at lower speeds and the system, which was pretty quiet before, is now even quieter.

I heartily recommend this to anybody using a GeForce4 graphics card.

A quiet cooler

Bought this cooler for an N VIdia 6600GT agp after the stock cooler destroyed itself. Unfortunately the mounting pins did not fit the holes in the circuit board so I fitted it to another NV 6600GT pci express card (Gainward). The holes and position of the graphics chip on the card fitted the cooler exactly although I had to cut a centimetre off the end of the exhaust to fit my case. Now runs cool and quiet. Good value despite having to do a little hacksawing!

Did not fit my 5700LE
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

Be careful about which graphics cards this will fit, even after checking on the manufacturer's website and buying this fan, it did not get close to fitting my 5700LE 128MB graphics card, the screws were in completely the wrong position.

I did, however, with the use of a hacksaw, some wire strippers (as the power connector was too big as well!), manage to get it to work. Good, if it fits.
