Wow!
os:
Windows XPI was rather skeptical of this product as all of the reviews read were US based and that doesn't always translate well to the UK.
My greatest concern was the quality of signal that could be received on a wrist watch and to my surprise it is really good.
I run around Greenwich park which means running under trees, populated housing, walls, etc... and the reception is remarkably good. It takes about 30 seconds to get an initial signal and from there on real time data on speed and distance.
The watch looks rather large but it is light and would say the right size for reading whilst running.
The software provided with the watch is also really good - simple install and connection via USB and data is downloaded to PC.
A basic map (main roads) is provided with breadcrumbs of the route ran alongside a graph with information on incline, heart rate (through chest strap), speed and distance at a specific point of the run.
The watch also provides functionality for a 'ghost runner' which can either be set up to help you run to a goal (speed or time) or if you're running a previously route you can get information of where you were on your previous run (ie ahead or behind) helping with your training goals.
Overall I am very pleasantly surprised by this watch.

Absolutely excellent!

Windows XPI bought one of these (not from Ebuyer though) in May and I have to say it's one of the best purchases I've ever made.
The watch is just very easy to use, switch it on, wait a minute or so for it to pick up the satellites , press the start button and start running. Based on measured races and checking the routes when downloaded onto my pc it's very accurate too.
Most people I've run with who have seen it have said they want one and a couple have already bought one. If you're not interested in the pulse rate stuff go for the Forerunner 205 which is identical execpt for the fact it has no pulse monitor.
The Garmin software supplied is ok, but the maps lack detail, a quick search on the web found me a piece of freeware called Sporttracks (http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/) which is amazing. You can download your routes to it and get them overlaid onto a map (using googlemaps) or even fly the route using Google Earth. It's pretty impressive.
Have no hesitation recommending this, if you're into running or know someone who is get one!
