Firstly well done ebuyer for delivery in the morning when you said you would. This DS lite has loads more features than the other one, and also what I thought was great is that it wasn't more expensive either.
If you're looking for a pressie this is top dollar.

Great Price

These consoles are great. Dual screen, really bright and clear image - better than TFT quality I think. Touch screen is as good as any pda or tablet pc which I work with. There are too real strong selling points about this console. One it simply fun to play, unlike most games on psp. Two ebuyer's price. I looked at a number of sources - Game £105 most places £110 to £125. How they sell for £83 I have no idea but I glad they did :-) It arrived for free on the day they stated. No problems at all. Get one and enjoy.

DS Does the World

Without doubt the Nintendo DS is the best and most innovative handheld console ever to be released to the world so far, the technology works superbly well and developers and gamers alike are gladfully relishing the experience of the DS.

If you've never considered the DS before then you really are missing out; with a wide variety of games available to satisfy everyones tastes, Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection allowing players to play wirelessly with nearby players or even around the world, and of course that touch screen to add a new dimension to your games.

The DS Lite also comes with a number of different back-lit screen settings to allow you to save battery life at times, to play in the darkest of places, also available is a GBA cartridge bay for your old Game Boy Advance games. It even has a built in microphone. Included is a rechargeable battery and AC charger, stylus (and spare), manual etc. Each console also comes with built-in software to manage your own profile and DS settings (eg. colour schemes) including the Pictochat utility that enables you to send and receive messages to those within range.

Unfortunately if you've owned an original DS version then you'll immediately notice the difference in the sound quality between the two consoles has deteriorated. This is, however, the only down-side to the DS Lite. Don't let this put you off, the design of the DS Lite is far superior ergonomically and in appearance, the stylus is also much easier to handle.

Connecting the DS to the Wi-Fi Connection service using your own wireless network can be a bit of a chore considering the standard of security most users use today, the DS can only connect to networks encrypted with 128-bit WEP keys or lower (64-bit, open) - taking into account the flaws of WEP you may wish to consider other options to connect to the service before lowering your networks security.

Overall the console itself is superb; so easy to pick up and just play anywhere you want, versatile and unique the innovation of the DS has made a global impact on fans and developers all around world, gaming may never be the same again.

Loads of improvements

Too many improvements to list, same price as its predecessor, what more can one want! I would definitely get one, two or more if you can. Nearly half the price of similar types, can't go far wrong in my eyes.

Brill....
