5 Stars - Great Unit

Windows XPI bought one of these units for my office, about 16 Sq mtrs. We have no windows inside our building as our offices are built inside a warehouse, we only have an air filtering system and it gets uncomfortably hot. We tried a few of these so called aircon units which you have to fill up with cold water and they were terrible they just blew warm air out.
I was a bit dubious of buying this system as i thought it would be just like the rest. This unit is amazing, it chills the room down to what ever temp you want by changing the temp using the remote. I am now too cold if i put it too low which is a nice choice.
The unit comes with a tube (same as tumble dryer style) which you can either put through a hole in the wall or through the window. We have cut a hole in the wall and fitted the pipe nice and neatly with the kit you get. The hot air then gets vacumed from the office and sent out the wall and into the warehouse. This is the best investment i have ever bought.
The system is slightly noisy while its trying to get the room to the temperature you want. Once it reaches that temp it goes quiet, it may kick in again if the room starts to get warmer but id rather have this than be uncomfortable.

Not ApplicableIn my opinion, this is one of the best items ive bought all year round!
- Was able to cool the lounge down from 26'C to 21'C in just under 8mins!
- Can set a timer to turn it on before i come home from work.
- Filter seems to catch all of my cat's fur which is great, because my previous fan just seemed to blow it all over the furniture.
- Can be used as just a fan when its not too hot, and seems to only consume 70w when doing this, which is great!
- Finally, noise level can be expected to be slightly higher than a standard fan (when the compressor is going), but is much lower than other air cons ive had in the past...all of which i returned due to noise level, and water drainage problems; all of which im not experiencing in the slightest with this model!
So overall...this is an absolute great buy!!

Windows XPExcellent machine that once fully up and running is relativly quiet and performs very well.
Remote control is fully functional any allows you to set the timer for automatic shut off and also has other useful features on it.
Water is collected in a large easily removed container at the rear of the machine which you are warned that it needs emptying by the front display on the machine.
I have had one of these machines for 3 years and feel it was one of my best investments!

Not ApplicableI bought this baby for 2 reasons, 1 it has a Panasonic super reliable compressor, and 2 because it does exactly what it says on the tin, 3 speed in cool and heat and costs peanuts to cool the downstairs down, i am looking at getting one forcooling the server room, Awesome simple extremely cost effective and small, our office shredder takes up more room.

Windows XPWe have two of these in our office and they are great, they are pretty quiet and yes they do need to be vented outside and they do not have the option of a permanent drain, highly recommended for home or work
Excellent value for money
I bought this after i saw an exact one in CostCo except they are selling at 299.
Very good value consider those available from B&Q cost more but without the remote and less powerful.
The unit worked well for my conservatory.
Vented Air
Does anyone know if this machine needs to vent to the outside (i.e. via a hose to a window)?
DOES IT ACTUALLY MAKE THE ROOM COOLER???
Do these units actually work?
Is it as quiet as it says?
Does this unit ONLY have a tank to collect excess water or can u set it up to constantly drain outside?
