Works a treat!
This USB stick works really well with Windows Vista.
You can get the latest vista drivers for it at :

MythTV
os:
LinuxI bought 2 of theese for use with my mythtv television system and have not regretted it anyone wishing to use them with mythtv its as simple as download the firmware and go (or just use mythdora and it works out the box) thinking of buying more to boost my tv system
only slight con is that they get a little warm which normally would not make a difference however they are mounted inside my mythbox (which i built into a VCR! :))
but I highly recommend them
note: pictures of my cool VCR PC can be found here - http://www.piez0r.com/vcr/
Works great with Mythtv

LinuxDoes what it says on the tin. With a bit of seraching google and fiddling it will work with your mythtv setup too. Bought one last week, buying another today.
Works with Vista 64

Windows VistaDownloaded Vista drivers from Hauppauge web site; installed drivers and used Windows Media Center to scan for channels, etc. I used house aerial so no problems with signal. Recommended.
Works well with Vista Home Premium Media Centre
I bought this in March 2007 to use with Vista Home Premium Media Centre, first I tried a cheaper brand but thus wins hands down on reliability and pick far more channels in my area!!
Very impressed - but download the Vista drivers!!

Windows VistaOverall, I'm very impressed with this little fella. Works a whole lot better than the cheapo one I bought from hong kong on eBay! Great picture quality, great sound and supports digital tv guide too.
I also managed to pick up a little bit of Channel 4 on the train in the UK - and I'm using it right now in Spain with a roof aerial - brilliant.
ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING THOUGH - if you want to use this on Windows Vista, you can - but make sure you download the Vista drivers etc. off the Hauppauge web site. Don't touch the XP disc that comes with it with a bargepole! In fact, go out and buy a bargepole specifically so that you can't touch the CD with it.
I'd also recommend using Media Center to watch the telly, as it's better and more stable than the ageing WinTV2000 which keeps crashing!
4 stars - would be 5 if they included Vista drivers on the disc, but they're dead easy to download.
Better than expected

Windows XPWorks well in XP, perhaps a bit better in Linux with Kaffeine (better EPG for sure). Personally I prefer it to the similar Freecom unit mostly because the software permits a small window so I can watch while I do other stuff on the PC. On my P4 1.7Ghz it uses a constant 45% of the processor! Thats really the only problem with it.
Easy TV

Windows XPOutstanding value. Does exactly what it says on the box and with the included ariel. Unbelievable really!
Great Product. A few helpful tips.

LinuxI'm using this on an old Celeron 2.4ghz PC with 512mb ram & an Nvidia 5500 PCI card, Perfectly fine.
Firstly most people complained about finding no channels. I had the same issues when using both Vista & XP using the latest software from the Hauppauge website.
Installed Kubuntu on the old PC, Getting rid of XP! Downloaded the firmware for Linux. Compiled V4L-dvb. Ran Kaffeine it found the device. Selected my local area & scanned (Using the included aerial) found all channels that were broadcasting.
The only real problem with this device is that the scanner isn't very good at finding the local muxes, They have to be defined first, Then most channels will be found, Well it worked for me!
I'm also 7 miles from the transmitter.
I hope this helps others.
Excellent when with an external aerial

Windows XPI bought this little babe to replace my old hauppauge WinTV USB 2. Initially as many review mentioned before, there was no channel detected when using with the tiny aerial which provided in the box. (I am not living in a strong signal area :(. ) However, when I connected it with my indoor aerial, it found around 40 freeview channels and the video quality was crystal clear!!
The only problem so far is the CPU consumption. My Sony laptop uses Intel centrino 1.73GHz (not dual core), 1GB DDR RAM, but when I open other software while watching TV, the TV signal starts to pause occasionally.
I would like to recommend this little babe if you are living in a strong signal area or you have an external aerial.
