This mouse is pretty good for the price, normally a decent logitech mouse would be above £20.

At first I bought an ebuyer extra value 1600dpi mouse, but it was poor quality. This logitech LX3 looks really good (shiny!) and has a nice feel.

Quite slim and easy to move but doesn't fill my hand, but I have quite big hands so I don't think there are many mice out there that will fill my hand.

The laser tracks perfectly, 1000dpi is more than enough for gaming and any other uses you might have. It moves well across my rough desk (which a mouse ball completely fails on.)

It's comfortable to hold and the buttons are good to press. The clicking noises aren't too loud and the resistances of the buttons are perfect.
Except maybe the scroll wheel, sometimes as it is a tilt wheel (ie you can push the wheel to the left and it acts as side scrolling or whatever) sometimes when I try to press the the wheel left I accidently scroll the wheel up, but some people like a nice smooth scroll wheel.

The software is pretty good, I have a few years old logitech keyboard which I bought ages ago, and the software for the mouse recognised it and I can control both the mouse and keyboard from the same software which is handy.

The software is pretty good, lets you assign the scroll wheel BUTTON and the tilt wheel buttons to a load of functions however it defaults the middle button as "zoom" which I find useless. It should default it to "middle button" which is normal. Took me a while to find out why half life wouldn't recognise Button3 but in the end I realised it was because button3=middle button and the software was set so I didn't have a middle button.
After I figured out what was wrong was easy to change.

Oh and the cable is nice a long so it reaches under my desk around the back.

Mice are important as when you're using a PC you're pretty much always using it, so it's worth getting a quality mouse.

Ive had this mouse for about a day and its definately what i expected it to be. Its so nice and sleek and snazzy, it made me smile. The comfort grip on the sides feels nice to your thumb and fingers, and it glides just as smoothly on a mousemat than it does if you just moved it on the desk. £20 delivered for a 1000DPI Logitech mouse...you can't go wrong with that :]. The software included is easy to use and lets you customize what you want your buttons to do. It also comes with 'Musicmatch Jukebox', which i assume is something similar to Windows Media Player? The only thing that took my notice away from its goodness is the left click, which takes a bit more pressure to push down than my old mouse. But i'll get used to that in no time, and im sure you will aswell. If you are looking for a cheap, decent, kool, sleek, comfy mouse that you can edit images with easily & accurately, and pwn up some noobs online with your game of choice, then this is the one for you.

Having had a MS Optical mouse for many years, it suddenly decided to power down every 5 seconds. A quick search of the internet shows this to be a common problem with MS mice and it's mainly due the mouse taking too much power. So I started my quest to find an attractive, well made and comfortable mouse, that wasn't too large. I think I have found it!. The button clicks aren't loud like cheapo units, there is a positive action from the button (not too much pressure, not too little). It feels very nicely built, no creaks or rattles when pressure is applied. Overall I am very impressed! Worth the money :). The keyboard, mouse and screen are your main contact points on a PC...so make sure they are good ones!!

I got this today, and after using a standard MS OEM optical mouse, this mouse is miles ahead of it.

As a gamer, I can say that this mouse is a very good choice if you don't have a huge amount to spend. The 1000 dpi makes/made a vast improvement on my shooting people. It's very accurate and really smooth.

I haven't used the sidescrolling thing much but from what I have used it was very nice.

There is only a slight problem and that is the wheel button requires more force to press down than others. But I'm sure it'll ease up nicely.

Conclusion - Buy it now, you'll love it.

got this mouse cos i needed a corded mouse to play online games but didnt want to spend much
and i am suprised at the performance!
u can go on an owning spree with it in COD2
not so good with CSS tho :( but hey its not a gamming mouse, thats why u cant rapidly do a left click after a right click
movement is realy good, better than my previouse one, and the sensitivity is great!
cons- NONE

This is a pretty good mouse. Im a big fan of the moulded Logitech mouses and found it quite difficult to switch. Its a very nice looking mouse and goes really well with my Logitech Ultra Flat Keyboard. I find the mouse a bit too accurate, if you move it very slightly is moves around quite oddly. When I first attached this mouse to my computer, it whizzed around the screen far too fast for my liking, but this is very simple to configure to best suit your needs. As I said, its very nice looking and is incredibly light, which helps it glid very swiftly across your mouse mat. I found the click a bit loud and harder to press down than my usual Logitech mouse. Its still pretty good...
