Worked wonders for me!
os:
Windows XPI had no problems whatsoever here. Received 2 sticks of Elixir RAM, popped them in and now my computer is considerably faster. I was dubious with my decision of buying it but im glad i did now. They also arrived a day earlier than expected... top stuff.
surprised
os:
Windows XPit came a day early and it is 2gb of ram, so no complaints. go for it if ya want a cheap upgrade.
Great Deal
os:
Windows XPRAM arrived on time, easy install and has sped up my pc amazingly well. Boot time down by at leat a minute and gaming is much more fluid. Great Deal.
Effective
os:
Windows VistaI bought this kit to revamp an old pc.
Popped them in and they worked straight away! I always find 'valua RAM' good for compatibility.
Mind you, they were only running at 266Mhz, but a quick fiddle in BIOS got them running at 400Mhz like they should.
Expensive as hell, I think because they are antique???
Only registerd 512Mb
os:
Not ApplicableI have had five of these and none have registered more than 512Mb for each module on a number of different mother boards. They were all returned to ebuyer. There are possible compatibility issues or some other problem. See the reviews against quickfind 63128 which is the single module version of this item. You will see many reviewers are having the same issue with that item.
DOA
os:
Windows XPTried this kit in two different good spec computers and the result was the same - they don't work. Will never buy cheap RAM again, a waste of time. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
That said, eBuyer's service is excellent and the returns procedure very easy. Dabs on the other hand are a nightmare.
Is this high or low density RAM
Does anyone know whether this is high or low density RAM? I'm running a EQS mother board model M65P9-ALV & have been informed I require low density. Any help much appreciated
