Brilliant
os:
Not ApplicableBought this a while ago, when it was on offer at PC World for £39.95 (RRP £49.95)
Fantastic desktop set, easy to use and set up, Ive just switched to vista from xp, and this works great on both.
Easy Plug and Play functionality, I'm using it at the moment with no drivers, but the drivers are useful for programming the extra buttons.
One thing I could not do without is the tilt-wheels. I have configured it for use with internet browsing, so that you tilt it to the left and the page goes "back" and to the right "forward".
Mouse is very slim, and may not suit some people, but its perfect for me.
Batteries last ages, bout 2-3 months with about 3-4hrs use per day. (last even longer if you use the power button on the underside of the mouse)
Recommend this set, especially at £20!
Usual Logitech quality. Buy it!
Brilliant Bundle

Not ApplicableThis keyboard/mouse bundle is brilliant
The mouse is very comfortable to use, and unlike my previous logitech mouse, I can rest my fingertips on the buttons without them pressing. So i dont have to keep my fingertips in mid air all the time
The keyboard is very nice, the letters are printed in the center of the keys, and not the top-left. The front is made of some sort of rubbery/plastic material, like the K800i, and is very comfortable on your palms
The reange is also good, i can use the set 10 meters away through a plastered wall
This bundle is in another shop for 50 quid, so grab yourself a bargain!
Very Good, But...
os:
Windows XPOkay, first, the mouse was really good from the start, the laser technology works really well, all the buttons are responsive, scroll wheel is nice, I have a small problem with the center click (button in scroll wheel) but not taht bad. So all is good on that front, and considering the price I think the laser mouse is really good value.
The Keyboard, works well, the buttons on the outside are ever so slightly too easy to accidently set off, but are all customisable so you can disable them if ya want.
Now here is the problem I had: Originally the keyboard was very iffy, had to restart often because it stopped working, I got sticky keys (not physically but the letter came out several times) it got really bad, and made the keyboard unusable. So I went down to the website to see if there was more software to fix it, downloaded the new software, no use. After some searching on the logitech site I found a link which wasn't very obvious, but updated the firmware on the USB receiver. (Link: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/433/147&cl=gb,en?softwareid=658&osid= ) and after that little hiccup with the software support, all was good.
iffy keyboard responsiveness
os:
Windows XPGood mouse, great design, lovely feel. Curently in comms with Logitech about dodgy keyboard responsiveness, especially when using the shift key - seems to be getting worse!
Have updated mini reciever firmware and general software on the PC, but to no avail.
LX710 shortcomings
os:
Windows XPAfter a year or so of owning and using this keyboard, all the keys are still useable and visible - except the "A" key which has disappeared entirely from the top of the key. Planning to see if I can get a replacement transfer letter to stick on. Have replaced the batteries a couple of times, and everytime the mouse responsivness is a bit iffy, it's normally down to too much clobber on the desk (e.g. speakers, staplers, coffee mugs etc) or the batteries, which last fairly well.
