Excellant Value for Money

I am using ebuyer Generic memory with the ASUS P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard and it works fine.

In order to figure out timings of ram I recommend using a program such as CPU-Z which gives you a table specific to the memory installed and tells you what the timings are at different frequencies (table is under SPD tab of program - remember 400MHz x 2 sides = 800MHz)

Initially motherboard recognised it as PC5300, but going into Bios and changing speed to 800Mhz under 'JumperFree Connections' immediately brought it up to PC6400.

For info, all in all I brought the following components:

Part # 112706 Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4ghz 4mb Cache
Part # 113951 ASUS P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard
Part # 122779 Raidmax Gaming Case With 500W PSU
Part # 119441 Sapphire ATI X1950XT 256MB GDDR3 Crossfire Ready
Part # Ebuyer 2GB Kit DDR2 800MHz PC2-6400 RAM

3D Mark 06 Score - 5994 without overclocking
(still using a std IDE Hardisk 200GB from old pc)

On Call of Juarez I am getting 80-140fps on high foliage maps with everything kicking off & 180-250fps on other city/sandy maps.

Got this a couple of weeks ago when it was 150 pounds. Have had bad experiences with Ebuyer value RAM in the past but so far all is good and running smoothly. Cheapest 800Mhz RAM around, would recommend.

Timings table
Frequency (MHz) 200 266 400
CAS# 3.0 4.0 5.0
RAS# to CAS# delay 3 4 5
RAS# Precharge 3 4 5

Ebuyer Value RAM

To allow Ebuyer to offer you the best prices for memory the brands they offer can vary weekly.

The brands that are chosen are all recognised brands, and the RAM offered is not "partial" or "incomplete".

All RAM is also tested prior to shipping to give you the confidence to buy it.

If you require high end RAM that you want to overclock I would suggest going for a premium brand. If you just want the benefit of extra memory then Extra value will suit your needs.

Like another reviewer, my initial shipment of this RAM was PC3200 DDR RAM.

When the correct order arrived I've installed it into an ASUS P5B board with a Core Duo 6600 Processor with no problems whatsoever

Bought this from ebuyer due to the price and the fact that its 800Mhz. I have been very pleased with the performance. It is currently running stable at its default voltage at 820Mhz allowing be to overclock my Core 2 Duo to 2.87Ghz. I have run the system for hours concurrently running Prime 95 and Toast without any issues, however it doesn't go any higher than this without Prime 95 reporting errors.

Excellent value!

I bought this with a little caution as cheap RAM is usually more trouble than its worth. However, on my newly built PC it slotted in and booted first time with no problems. Didnt need to adjust the timings or any other configuration.

Good, cheap purchase.

Does exactly what it says on the tin!

Works perfectly with my basic Asus P5B which others say requires upmarket RAM.

Mine is manufacture by SpecTek who I believe supply Micron RAM.
