I bought this Cooler Master Psu to replace my old Xpro 550w, because it can never bootup the new Core 2 Duo cpu. It's awasome, very stable and quite. It supports Core 2 duo, which counts!

Here are my spec:

Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4Ghz 4mb
MSI nVidia 7900GTO
Corsair DDR2 1000 1GB
Maxtor SATA II 250 16mb
LG 16x DVD-RW
ASUS P5W-DH Delux
Coolermaster eXtreme Power 650W PSU

i bought this because of the price. and good name of brand. coolermaster is good on cases. this is my frist to try power from them. so far, i free paid less for more. i use to use enermax, but it has noise issue. extreme Power Supply is highly recommended.

Bought this after my old PSU went dead. Now I can sleep while my PC is still turned on at night. Highly recommended if you love to download movies at night time.

Powering amongst other smaller things an e6700, an nvidia quadro fx 1500 and a couple of sata drives.

Running very cool in the bottom of an Antec P180 case. 12v CPU connector cable wasn't quite long enough for the odd case design and required a bodged extension. The sata power connectors won't stretch from the DVD drive at the top of the case to the HD bay in the bottom so I have my HD mounted in the extra middle bays until I fix that.

Doesn't make any more noise when it works hard.

Amazing

Just got this baby. and i have to say its amazing. Before i had a crappy 450w psu, it was noisy and whatnot. Now its much quieter, it is a wind machine to be honest, if u stay behind your pc you will be in a wind tunnel :D

And yes it does have 2 pcie 6 pin connectors, so you can connect your 8800GTX to it, it is SLI and Crossfire ready.

Bloody brill psu and i would reccomend it to anyone.
