118439 USB Wireless Optical Mouse
review by: Anonymous operating system: Not Applicable

The mouse is let down by a poorly translated manual but is a great little component.

The cover, for the batteries, is released by pressing the wheel-end of the large silver button.

The wireless receiver (USB dongle) is released from storage by pressing the rear of the same large silver button.

118439 Mini Wireless Opical Mouse

Bought two of these for HP 530 laptops which I also bought from E-Buyer.

They arrived with AAA mercury batteries, of which two of the four were faulty, but hey, for the price, what is the cost of two alkaline replacements.

As a previous review indicated, the instructions for setting up are not clear, but it is easy if you plug the usb stick into the port, Vista recognised it and installed in within 40 seconds then you pair the units up by pressing the button on the underside of the mouse, then within ten seconds press the silver button on the usb stick, hey presto you have a great, neat, fast mini mouse which works well on vista.

The units store neatly together in a corner of the laptop bag.

Great value for silly money!

Ordered Sunday on supersaver & it arrived Tuesday . Well done Ebuyer again.

As said by previous reviewers no batteries or instructions. As most supplied batteries are cheap & nasty get yourself some decent rechargeables. As

for instructions

1. press front of silver button just behind scroll wheel

2. pull back cover & insert batteries slide cover back on.

3. insert dongle

4. press small button on base of mouse

5. then press sml button on dongle then it should be recognised

6. Good luck

Been using for a week now and my desktop mouse feels like house brick.

Has a range of at least a metre

Go get one !!!!!!

Like people have said, the instructions aren't great. All I can say is that I didn't even get any instructions, nor did I get any batteries either. I only just found out now that there was even a button on the dongle for pairing (as mine's black it just looks like another part of the dongle). I just spent the last five minutes thinking that it doesn't work with vista (which it does) even though vista installed the driver. Anyway, overall it's a great little product, especially for the price and storing the dongle in the mouse is just GREAT! Thanks Ebuyer!

Got one of these about a week go for my Acer laptop it worked out of the box with Vista Ultimate. Reed what people have said about the battery compartment and how to get into it. You just can't argue with the price 4 quid for a wireless mouse bargain and nifty way of storing the dongle. I impressed.

Great mouse for the money
review by: Anonymous operating system: Windows XP

Its not the best mouse in the world but it isn't at all bad either. Its probably a bit small if you if you have hands like dinner plates but its fine for the wife. Mine came with no instructions and no batteries but after reading the advice in the earlier reviews it was working in seconds with no mucking about. Delivery was also fast (on the standard 5 day).

Nice Mouse Shame about the Instructions
review by: Anonymous operating system: Windows Vista

As mentioned by many people, my mouse came without instructions or batteries.

Read the instructions left by other people and the batteries were installed and the mouse working in a minute, shame I wasted so much time trying to make it work myself!!!

Overall a very good mouse at a bargin price, shame about the lack of instructions
