The 2005 version was pants but this seems to do the job. Similar interface as before, a years subscription, and a licence for 3 computers.

Anti-virus, firewall, spam filter.and best of all it seems to work well, does not cripple your computer as the older versions did, so the only way you will get better value is to go for free stuff. This is better as it is in one package.

I agree that with Panda 2005, whilst extremely good at detecting and stopping malware, there were MAJOR issues, especially hanging computers on update. However, these issues have been resolved, and i am very happy with this latest version. Installation is easy, updates are straightforward and system performance is not affected to any noticeable degree.
I have a huge amount of experience with an extremely large number of antivirus products as part of my job. I am also somewhat lucky in some respects to have free copies given to me by a number of different AV companies. Currently i run Trend, BitDefender, Norman, AVG and a few more well known products. Yet when i built my new system, i still purchased Panda IS 2007.
It may not be the most well known or the biggest company in the field, but i think it is certainly up there with the best and indeed i would
recommend it to people above some of the more popular selling brands.

Perfect, a real star

I have been let down by so many antivirus programmes before either too heavy (norton) too light in protection (McAfee) or just not trusted (AVG & Bullguard) - I was delighted when this nifty sweet of products gave me the total protection without killing my system and costing the earth - Never heard of Panda Before but this is my choice from now on

I've run Panda for a number of years... never had any viruses and does not slow down your system like so many AV packages do. When I put systems together for people now I only ever install Panda. 100 times better than any of the free AV packages. Don't skimp on something that could save all your precious photo's and files.

When I installed PANDA it asked if I wanted to allow several wireless IP address, They were all IPs of other PCs on the local network so I clicked yes. On rebooting the PC, after installing Panda, the internet was not connected any longer. It turned out that the USB 3COM wireless device was blocked. I disabled PANDA Firewall and the wireless still didn't work.DHCP didn't function for some unexplained reason so I tried a manual IP config and although the wireless link associated I couldn't get any traffic working, not even a ping to the router. After 2 hours of trying everything I gave up and decided to disable the lot except the virus check. After several restarts and disabling all of PANDA except the antivirus the wireless and internet functioned again. So I started the transfer of a load of data to a laptop, it hung up midway. The reason being that PANDA decided to update over the internet and caused all normal traffic to hang. this forced me to restart both PC's. By this time I was seriously annoyed. It was especially frustrating as PANDA caused everything to slow down to a snails pace, 20 to 40 seconds to open a control panel window etc etc.
PANDA causes a speed reduction of the PC far far worse than Norton. I'd say by at least a factor of 5. I'm removing PANDA and returning to the overpriced Norton.

Have used Panda in the past and found it pretty good. Went away to Kaspersky for a couple of years and bought this again because it was cheaper.

What a mistake! Constantly running in the background even after being "turned off", huge systems slow downs on boot ( sometimes taken over ten minutes to get to a usable state. before install was about three! ), Non-stop adverts asking if I want to upgrade my version.

After two weeks I had had enough and have gone back to Kaspersky!

Never again - even if it is nearly free! The level of frustration achieved was unreal!
