Excellent disc - but ensure your firmware is up to it

I am using an NEC 3540A on XP. The first couple of burns were fine at 8x but Nero CD speed showed a spike in PIE at layer transition. Discs played fine however. Now just upgraded to the latest firmware (my previous one was only a year old) and started using IMGBURN and the spike has gone. Layer 1 is always an excellent burn (as clean as verbatim), with layer 2 not as good but reasonable PIE max 3 avg 1.

Unless you want to pay for Verbatim DL, get these. Other than verbs there is no better discs. The MID of these RICOHJPN D01 show release 67 which are streets ahead of the early Aone DL discs (release 02) that many sites reviewed.

The discs are full face printable (right down to 17mm hole) though can take slightly longer to dry. Video test disc play fine in DVD players and demo games tests work fine in Xbox360

Wow! Just used this on my brand new LG GSA-H22LBL 18X SuperMulti Drive. Burned at x8 an 8Gb Data Image in 19 Minutes 30 Seconds. Highly Recommended. Shame they are now out of Stock!

Works well with PIONEER DVR-110D

Tried a few with my Pioneer DVR-110D with the latest firmware and success every time. I used Nero 7.5 and it recognised the disk immediately. However, it would only write the DVD at 2.4X, not more, not less. At this setting, it would burn a DVD (with data verification enabled) in just under one hour. The burning itself took about 40 minutes, but for the price it is not bad at all.

I ordered these D/L discs as they were printable and a good price. In the 15 dvd's I've burnt there has only been 1 dud and that was my fault. They've been used in Imageburn, Clone CD and Nero without issue.

The DVD Drive I'm using to write to them is a Pioneer 112dBLK - which is also a great piece of kit.

Just as a note I have only burnt these D/L at 2.4x for stability reasons even though the drive will burn upto 10x and some.

Keep these in stock Ebuyer!!!

Was using more expensive 2.4x speed ridisc, had mixed results with those, got these after friend told me about them, burnt 6 so far first one I tried @ 8x and it stoped burning half way through with some error, burnt other 5 at 4x speed and all have been perfect and show very clean burn results.

Highly recommended.

i had been told that verb`s were the best disc for 360 games backups as the 360 laser get`s weak, but i have found these discs to be very good indeed.no probs when burnt at 2.4 speed the only trouble i have had is when someone else burnt them for me???.i would seriously recomend this media to anyone who requires backups of 360 games.why pay more?,exellent for price, dont be missled.i use a toshiba samsung drive for burning and image burn to do the biz.
