amazing mouse
review by: Calvin Yim os: Windows XP

this is an amazing mouse, the reciever can be inserted (hide) inside the mouse itself, when you eject the reciever, it act as a switch to switch on the mouse itself.

Highly rate this mouse! Small enough to keep in your case but not tiny like alot of notebook mice and fits into your palm very comfortably. Packed full of features and programable buttons. Great scroll wheel which basically allows the wheel to spin either freely (excellent for web browsing through forums etc.) or flick the switch across and it will scroll traditionally! For 35 quid or 25 if you use google checkout its an excellent buy!

Wow! This is a gem of a mouse, works without installing any software (on Vista HP, at least) and is very comfortable to use, so much so my diNovo mouse is now just an ornament! It's very precise, works on all surfaces that I have tried (including a sofa!) and the hyperscroll wheel is just amazing! Then, of course, is the usb receiver eject! If you are particular about your input hardware, this mouse will not disappoint!

This mouse is amazing it really is the ultiamte notebook mouse. Comfortable to hold and precise like a destkop mouse i prefer this is the mouse that came with my mx3200 desktop set. I have had this since last august and have changed the battery once, and i use it every day. Very precise, micro gear works well even if i only use it on the clicky mode. At 20 quid this is amazing if your looknig for a laptop mouse look no futhur, and if you do look futhur you wont find anything any better i promise you know.

I was contemplating between getting this mouse and the nano, being that the nano has the mini-receiver as it's main selling point.

Well, when I got this at 20 quid I wasn't going to complain. However, even though it's now at 30, I'm still going to buy another!

This mouse is amazing, comfortable and well designed. It's not as long as my G5, but alot more comfortable. The free-wheelin' scroll wheel is wicked, and I've used it for hours during gaming without any discomfort.

Personally, the receiver is larger than the nano, but it hides in the mouse, when you put everything away, and it turns the mouse off for you, which saves battery life. You wont regret buying this mouse...I haven't.

Upgraded from an Microsoft optical wireless notebook mouse. Much more precise tracking with laser on more surfaces. 2.4Mhz receiver range is much greater at least 5m no problem. the myriad of buttons is a bit OTT but some are very useful e.g. navigation buttons. all in all quality product a

t good price, logitech products have come a long way, BTW did you know the company is Swiss?

I LOVE this mouse

I got this mouse for my computer, because the MX was a little pricey.

I love everything about this mouse and upgrading from a wired, generic Microsoft mouse, I have to say it is my favourite part in my new computer set-up.

The good:

-Very comfortable

-Very precise

-Extra buttons are very useful

-Extra buttons are programmable to anything you want

-Scroll wheel can be switched at will between super-smooth and one-bit-at-a-time

The bad:

-Receiver is slightly weak as I had it in the back of my computer and it didn't pick up some movements a metre away until I put it in the front of my case (although it's meant for laptops so I can't complain, there's a lot of stuff in between)

-The application to programme the buttons is 60mb and is always running in the background which I find rather bemusing

Highly recommended at this excellent price :)

Not cheap, but simply the best notebook mouse money can buy.

It is a bit big for a notebook mouse, but the ultra small wireless usb adaptor, the laser sensor technology and the rubberised sides make this the mouse to buy for any Roadwarrior.

A review for Mac users

Works well, looks good, very customisable.

Even comes with a Duracell battery!

Some points to note *for Mac users*:

- It will work without the software, but I highly recommend installing it. The 'software' is a preference pane which allows you to customise the buttons on the mouse. Without the software the search, zoom and forward buttons won't do anything. I also noticed without the software the scrolling was not as smooth and continues scrolling after the wheel is stopped!

- The software allows you to have a different configuration settings for each application! Hurray! (it has a "global setting" too, of course)

- Being able to map key combinations is also very useful

- The software is not on the CD, you must download it from the Logitech website.
