Logitech G11

this keyboard really is nice, it has good feedback on the buttons, and they light up well in the dark.

some things that stand out to me -

this keyboard is BIG. so make sure u got desk space for it.

im not used to extra keys on the side, so 1 thing that annoys me is i press the g keys alot instead of the caps lock, escape button n shift button. how ever u will get used to it.

despite it not being in the picture, it does come with the extra wrist rest that attaches onto the keyboard. i usually dont use them, and because this keyboard is so big i keep it off to save space.

the keyboard is quite a bit cheaper than the G15, so unless u really want that extra screen above the volume buttons, get the G11 instead, i believe it does everything else the G15 does. besides, u can find out your core temps and stuff with programs like speedfan, and why would you want to see ur stats when you can access them in game? e.g. bf2, or even online stat sites!

overall 5/5

Help Needed
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

I bought this keyboard installed so I thought and away we went, turned the computer off all ok. Turned back on again and gets part of the way through the start up and throws the error message, "No Keyboard detected or keyboard error"
I have to plug a keyboard in to get it past this point, once past this the G11 works fine.
I would be very grateful of any help........

Perfect keyboard. Nice to type on and the macros are very useful.

The light up in the dark feature is brilliant and the feature to turn off the annoying windows key was a great thing Logitech thought up.

G11 All The Way

This keyboard is a great weapon to use when playing games and doing media playback. You don't need to get the G15 because sometimes the screen just says logitech. Logitech thought long and hard on this keyboard because of a new switch which disables the windows key. So helpful when playing a game and you press the windows key instead of the ctrl key. Only thing I noticed is that if you dual boot or restart your computer without using windows it comes up with a screen saying do you want to start windows normally or do you want to use safe mode etc.. The arrow keys don't work. In the bios they do so its a bit strange. But only with that small bug it doesn't really matter. I would give it a four and a half but ebuyer don't do that so it has to be four.

very nice design and build but not perfection. overall i was satisfied but the lighting could be brighter and cover the buttons better. personally I found it did not sit high enough on its legs either but it does the job

When you boot up, go into your BIOS, go into 'Basic BIOS Settings' (or similar depending on your BIOS) and look for a setting something like 'HALT ON ERROR'. Set to 'ALL BUT KEYBOARD'

Note the exact wording may differ with different BIOSes, but all will have such an option somewhere.

You could also try the bios option for 'Legacy USB Keyboard' or 'Support legacy USB devices' if your bios has it
