Excellent
os:
Windows VistaGot this today and installed it in my HP Pavilion that i have upgraded quite a lot to accept Vista.
Works brilliantly. Runs Vista 3D Flip and Windows AERO with no problems at all at a overall rating of 2.5.
The driver disk is not need as it installs itself after an initial reboot.
Overall, an excellent performance and an amzing price.
great cheap card

LinuxHad one of these in a ubuntuwindows xp computer. it would run all of beryl/compiz 's effects fine. Would play sims 2 on full graphics with all expansions up to an including seasons.
2 problems:
1. it made the graphics in my computer go funny for a while. but that may have been a dusty agp slot or a setting wrong in bios
2. Has quite a loud fan on it as the inno3d's default fan but i don't mind a loud computer and for 20 i don't care
so it still deserves the 5 stars
cheap and so good
no probs so far plays toca 3 full bore , cheap and very cheerull .
GeForce FX5200 256MB DDR AGP Graphics Card
os:
Windows XPWell worth the money
Good
os:
Windows XPIts good for a buget card if you dont like spending money!
Conflict problems
os:
Windows XPIt's working - but with some issues.
DVI output is stripey until it warms up.
VGA o/p is tinted pink or blue.
A conflict with onboard VGA, OK if disabled.
I'll run it till it breaks, then decide what to get next.
Won't install on Vista SP1
os:
Windows VistaWon't install drivers on Vista SP1 either from the disk supplied or from the NVIDIA site. It gave the message that this wasn't Vista 32bit which the drivers were for. Well I even checked the properties just to make sure I wasn't running 64bit by mistake but I definitely have the correct OS.
Windows found the right drivers though now there's no NVIDIA consol making much of the PDF manual obsolete. And I suspect the performance isn't what it should be.
It's a fanless card so totally silent which is good and good value.
DVI Output not working
I got this today and it looks great on my analogue monitor but on my HD tv through a dvi to hdmi cable the picture is offset and very dark. Ive stepped through the different resolutions and all look the same - anyone else have this and no the fix?
Hu?
os:
Windows XPMy Radeon 9250 128MB runs Battlefield 2 better than this, I can't understand it. Tried three sets of drivers with no luck. Sure it runs my Vista setup well but any gaming then you can forget it. Sorry never using Nvidia again.
Drivers
As the review said - you do not NEED the drivers as the graphics card is plug and play but if you install the drivers you can significantly increase the performance of the graphics card, you will also have more advanced options such as applying anti-alaising to the desktop and normal programs
Hope it Helped.
