Great Value for Money!
operating system:Windows XPNot a bad piece of kit. I wanted to build a Media Centre PC out of an IBM Thinkcenter. No AGP or PCI-E slots so PCI was all I had.
Bought one of these (
Is there a problem
I bought one of these cards for a IBM Thinkcenter, one of the really small formfactor ones.
works brillently until you get to a res of 1360x768 then graphics start missing out some pixcels?
think this might be a power issue? anyone know?
but other than that if you just using a normal screen should work grate!
nVidia GeForce FX 5200 256mb PCI*
operating system:Windows XPFor 35 pounds not a bad card.
It gives you a good upgrade from onboard graphics.
I used this card to boost an old work computer that has a good processor speed but only had PCI BUS exspansion slots available. The results are good but not mind blowing, games run ok with average graphics and 3D applications such as 3D studio max are improved greatly.
Overall -
A worthwhile upgrade from onboard graphics and probably the best PCI card available, and, at 35 pounds you wont be breaking the bank.
Good
operating system:Windows VistaA very nice upgrade from onboard graphics. Games are running smoother.
Vista users please note - don't search on nVidia's website for drivers, as the 'Vista' drivers they have do not work one bit! Use the XP drivers on the CD that comes in the box.
PCI or AGP
Hold on i'm confused is this a AGP x8 card or a PCI card. It says AGP in the specifictions
