Vista is Go!
As a cheap 2nd card for my Windows Vista PC I was happy to find NVidia's drivers supported the FX5xxx series under the Vista OS (unlike ATI and their cheaper/older PCI cards).
I've now got two NVidia graphics cards in my MS Windows Vista PC working together nicely, four displays!
I've not pushed it with 3D capabilities, but it is one of the few PCI DirectX 9 cards around.
Not lightening fast but OK for the odd game

LinuxDon't expect too much from a PCI graphics card. Never the less, it's enough to run the 3D desktop, Beryl, on GNU/Linux.
Overall a BIG improvement on my old Intel integrated graphics. Recommended.
important information

Windows XPthis card is (as has already been stated) much better than my on board graphics, and even allows the on board still to function. The driver disc supplied caused my pc to crash, needing a restore, but I downloaded the latest drivers from the nVidia website and its working really well. it has a setting to automatically play video full screen on the second monitor whenever you play it on your main monitor.
I am using it to playback video on a samsung 40 inch lcd with no issues.
very important, this comes with a dvi-vga converter in the box, so you do not need to buy one to be able to hook up 2 vga monitors
No problems

Windows 98I used this card to get an old Win98 PC working again. That PC had faulty on-board graphics and it was easier to install this card (and download the Win98 drivers) than trying to repair the existing motherboard. Although I would've preferred the card to be a bit cheaper than 32GBP that's all down to supply and demand. It's passively cooled so is silent(no fan, just a heat-sink for those that don't know). Works fine, but in response to the question earlier, no I wouldn't use this card to play COD4. It might play the original Call of Duty, but you'll need at least a 6600GT or 7600 to play COD4.
Drivers
The driver CD that comes with this card only has the Win2000/WinXP drivers on it. So if installing into a Win98/WinMe system go get the driver first !!

Note: If you do run the Win2000/WinXP install it tells you that a non-windows OS has been found
No stars till I see it in action on the wide screen display it's been purchased for.
