Amazing bit of kit!

Took it into my mate at T&B's Engineering Ltd, he put this thing on a load simulator and YES! it truly is efficient as they say it is, I got an average total of:

Pros:
* 82% efficient!
* Plus, whisper quiet!
* Main board 24pin cable wrapped in nylon wrap, less clutter!
* Box comes with a power cable too!
* Also four of those philips styles screws.

Cons:
None of the other cables were wrapped in nylon, so a bit of cost saving on their side leaves a little mess on our side, but not a biggy, a few plastic tie-wraps and done deal.

Conclusion:
Go for it, as far as I'm concerned, THIS is the MOST efficient range of PSU's out there. The small fan says it all, less heat being produced so less fan power needed to keep it cool ;)

The wirese should be long enough for most cases, watch out for extra long cases though, the wires arent as long as my Thermaltake ToughPower PSU.

Reduced power consumption by 20%

I bought this PSU to replace a cheap ebuyer one which seemed to exhaust a lot of heat and so I guessed was inefficient.

This is a great PSU: runs cool and quiet and reduced the power consumption of my server (Athlon X2 4000 65W, 4 x HDD) from 108W down to 88W, a saving of 20W!! Also got plenty of SATA connectors.

Brilliant buy

Excellent PSU, whisper quiet (I was actually worried the fan wasn't turning for a while), and with the low power core 2 duo's I can feel happier using an efficient PSU.

I'm running this with 2 250gb disk drives, single DVD-RW drive, an 8600GT graphics card (specifically chosen as it's fairly low power compared to the GTS, 85W max), and a core 2 duo e4400 overclocked to 2.6ghz. I was a bit concerned this wouldn't be up to the job, with 400W-500W being the advertised minimum for a box such as mine, but everything is fine :)

Good power supply

This is a really quiet power supply. It has plenty of connection options, 4 x SATA, 1 x PCI-E and plenty of others. The 24 pin connector splits to a 20 + 4 if needed. Add in the excellent efficiency and this makes a great power supply.

Not as quiet as expected

After 3 months, this PSU is performing as expected. It is not especially quiet, but acceptably so. I actually find it runs quite cool, but it is being used well within its rated load.

Because of the efficiency, I will be using more of these in the future.

I bought this as my old PSU drowned out the room. Fitted this and found that my CPU fan was noisier than this Antec. Brilliant buy would recommend....
