This is a wonderful piece of kit.
It doesn't look flashy, but it certainly does the job.
It has two 12V rails which put out a total of 34A - more than enough for all but the demanding gamer - and what's more, it's so quiet! My Hiper case fan (at 19 db) makes more noise.

Since it only has an 80mm fan, it doesn't help so much with cooling components as some other PSUs, but overall it's a little gem, and I'd not hesitate to buy another .

this thing is extremely quiet!
dont fall for the cheaper PSU as they are not as good in quality. so look at ones £30+ for a long life PSU that will not ruin other hardware in your machine.

This is good value. cant wait for the electricity bill...lol

delivery was smooth. well done ebuyer 5 stars

The best 430w out there!

This Power supply is extremely silent. Fan keeps the machine really cold.

I bought this to power my 7900GS graphics card and no problems there. There are PLENTY of additional sockets, obviously it has a PCI-Express plug which can plug directly into the graphics card, and plenty of 4pin molex aswell.

Most of the cables are neatly wrapped in an attractive plastic braid (same as those finger traps you get).

This isn't exactly very 'future proof' so if your thinking of upgrading your PC later on...think bigger than 430w.

Very happy, great purchase. 10/10!

Bought one of these recently to replace a stock (450w) Antec PSU that came with my Sonatta case a couple of years back. First thing I noticed was how quiet it was, approx 50% quieter than my previous PSU (on a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is inaudible I would put it at an 8). It has plenty of connectors and lots of SATA cables which is why I bought this one. Overall I am very happy with this PSU and would not hesitate to buy another....

15 month Payback !

I've just bought and installed one of these beauties, replacing a generic 500W ebuyer PSU.

This PSU is better quality, better equiped, and much quieter.

According to my Wattmeter this PSU draws a astonishing 25% less power. Leaving my PC on 24/7 as I do, the payback period for replacement is under 15 mnoths !

Bought this in a bundle with an Antec case...quickfind 130949. Excellent value, and as others have said, almost silent. Can't comment on the efficiency, as I don't have test facilities, but it does the job effectively, and quietly.

Not as good as i'd hoped

I got this to power my Athlon 6000+, 2gb Corsair XMS2 and a X1950XT GPU.

At first sight it looked pretty good due to it having 34A on it's 12v rails.

After a while however (2/3 months) it started playing up and restarting my computer under heavy load!

I brought a new PSU and now all is well, but don't use this PSU to power a moderately high system as it just won't be able to cope with the strains of the job.

Overall a decent PSU for medium/low end systems.

Correct 12v output value
review by: Anonymous os: Not Applicable

Just a heads-up for those considering buying this PSU.

It doesn't output 34a on the 12v rail as has been previously stated. This power supply outputs 30amps at 12volts.

HTH, dagwoood
