This is a Seasonic SS-500ES
As above - one of the better "Antec" rebadges. Some of the others are the inferior FSP units. Buy it!
A bit noisey
os:
Not ApplicableAn amazing PSU for the money, provides all I need for my high powered gaming computer...
Crossfire happy! 2 x 17amps on 12volt rail!
os:
Windows XPThis won't run the very latest 8 pin PCIe but if your not doing a pair of 720/8800GTX's then this'll do fine!
To the guy asking about a whether this will run a pair of 8800's
It might narrowly do it for a week or so and then fall over. Get something in the 650-800 range. (and buy quality if you have 8 series nvidia as they are fussy)
Good quality but noisy
os:
Windows XPBought it a couple weeks ago. I got a high volume of noise straight away. After switching off the CPU fan, I am 100% sure it is this PSU, which creates it. Don't buy it if u mind the noise, otherwise it's quite a good buy.
Pro:
It's working fine with my AMD3200+
250G SATA HD
DVDRW
GeForce 7600GT
Con:
-2 for the noise.
Wattage incorrect?
Well the product title clearly says 500W, yet the box in the picture says 380W.
Which is it? I
Cheers
500W
This is a 500w, the box picture has been changed to a 500w picture.
How does this work?
It's a 500W so, if you plug in one 500W PCI-E connector wouldn't that use all of the PSU?
Sorry if I sound dumb ^^ I just need to know if it would run a Sata and 2x N-Vidia G-Force 8800's please?
