os:
Windows VistaI have recently started using this card with a Vista 64bit system and I am very disappointed with the sound quality. It was good with XP, not staggering, but good enough for listening to mp3s and such. Support in Vista is poor though, I have the latest drivers but audio is full of distortion.
I am a fan of the Audio HQ software but unfortunately there is no support for this under Vista 64bit so I have no way of adjusting the audio to suit my speakers (tried the graphic equaliser in WMP but this just created more distortion).
If you do intend to buy this card go for the OEM version, should save you a tenner.
Vista
To the two questions, yes it will work, but the CD you get may be out of date drivers for Vista. If so simply go onto the Creative website and download the latest drivers for the card, propably under support or downlaods im not sure.
will this work on vista?
Before i go ahead and buy this for call of duty 4 i was wondering if anyone knows if this will work on windows vista?
Vista
i would also like to know if this is compatible with vita :P
Sounds
I have this sound for a while now but I removed it because when I run games such as Conflict Global Storm for instance, the characters talk like Micky Mouse.
Is there anyway to remove this 'Micky Mouse' effect?
