At this price who can complain?

Plugged in and worked straight away, I have installed portable apps from www.portableapps.com and it works a treat.

Superb!

Unclips from its lanyard, which makes life easier when carrying the thing around, and the cap clips over the other end so you are less likely to lose it.

Had mine for a couple of months now after upgrading from a Sandisk 1Gb model - the extra space comes in very useful, and I have not seen any problems with reliability or speed.

i reviewed this awhile ago and altho abit sluggish on writing files to it,it works brilliant with my dvd divx player,rarely makes them films stutter or make them out of sync and on the odd occations it does then a pause and play fixes the problem.

gave it a 3/5 before but am changing it 5/5 as with another usb mini drive i just bought the excalibur,its no where near as good as this device,buy one,its a good product

pen drives

ive been through a few pen drives in my time and this one is the one im most impressed with. It's big which is one thing and is cheap for the size so thats an added bonus. The build quality is very good and it looks good apart from the colour on the 4gb model which is what i have. its got a big loop to attach it to something like your keys if you want to. the downside is that the speed of data writing onto it isnt the best but i can live with that due to the cost.

I bought my Kingston memory stick from India.it is working amazingly. I use it every day.it supports all types of task which is extra ordinary feature of this product. This is best value for the hard earning we are paying.

Who needs Portable Hard Drives When You have This!!!!

This flash drive is perfect for installing portable apps to use on the go. Ive installed an extensive pack which ranges from browsers to video converters to download managers. And it also provides for big data storage, up to 5 full avi films or 11 tv shows, now thats portability!

Its fast too, with an average write speed of 12 mb/s!!!! Takes me 1 minute to put a 700mb film on.

Overall a top quality product with a great warranty and great price :)

Great at the price

I was cautious about the speed of this drive before i bought it. I always wish someone would benchmark these things in the reviews but they never do...

tested with Sandra Lite XI using a 64MB file

read: 15MB (mega Bytes)/s

write: 9MB (mega Bytes)/s

Which is pretty good at this price. I would point out though that for very small files ~2k this drops by a factor of 1000, partly because the drive is FAT32 formatted. this wont affect many people. but it's always worth archieving if you're dealing with a large number of small files.

Fast Drive

I can confirm the earlier reviewers comment that this works fine on Vista Readyboost.(I'm on 32bit Premium version)

If you're not on Vista what happens is that Vista does a read/write to see if it is fast enough to use on Readyboost. Not all USB 2.0 flash drives are fast enough.

I've had one of these for a few months and can fully recommend it:

a)It's quick;

b)It has a 5 year warranty;

c)It's as tough as old boots;

d)It survived a 40 degree wash (Kingston should advertise this!).
