Cool and quiet.

Just put together a Vista system and was worried about the potential noise generated by cooling all the amazing kit we have access to now. My son wanted a half decent gaming spec so I thought it was worth spending a little extra on key components.

This PSU has pull and push fans and seems to handle any load we've thrown at it thus far without getting noisy. I've not put together a system for a while but this is far quieter than any psu I've installed in the past. It's a tenner more than the 'value' options but it feels like quality kit and it's worth it for a quiet life!

Spec: Arctic Power 500W PSU
Asus P5N-E SLI 650i Socket 775
Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 (2.13Ghz)
Kingston 2GB KIT (2X1GB) DDR2 667MHz
Sapphire X1950Pro 256MB PCI-E Graphics Card
Asus TA-861 Black/Silver Midi Case No PSU

Just bought this to replace a stock 230W PSU. And its brillaint. Has more than enough Molex Connectors to connect all my fans, and Optical Drives. And one thing I didn't notice was that it has dual cooling (one fan for sucking in cool air, and one for extracting warm air) which is an added bonus.

Its nice and Shiney too, and has enough power to power an entire SLI system with an Intel Quad Core.

Ordered this a few days ago, came very quick! Installed it fine all the cables were long enough.
The sound is very quite, my old psu was much more louder. Only disappointing thing was that it came with no velcro cables but apart from that very good PSU, worth buying!!

Amazing piece of kit at this price! A silent 500W PSU for 24.99, if like me you don't need any more power than this don't go for the cheaper option. This is reliable and quiet well worth the extra money.

Well just put this in as my old PSU conked out... If I pause my music now, it's hardly possible to tell my pc is on! This psu has plenty and I mean PLENTY of wires, not got exact count but it was roughly 3 times what my old "value" psu had. Very good psu for this small amount of money, thanks ebuyer! Delivery plenty fast enough too for 3 odd quid.

Oh and it smelt nice too.

Got this to replace a HIPER 425W that burnt out after 2 years for no apparent reason. The look and feel of it does not quite match that of the HIPER( which had braided cabling) but it is quieter and lighter. Also a couple of quid cheaper. Thoroughly recommended.

Put this in my first build and it does the job perfectly. Had no problem with the cables reaching in a standard size MIDI case, and my motherboard came with a IDE to SATA converter so i could run both my SATA HDD and my SATA dvd drive. If u have more than one SATA device tho, make sure u have or get a converter as this only has one SATA connecter. Brilliant PSU for the price

Just installed this psu into a dell dimension E520 replacing to stock 305W psu. Fitted in the case nice and the cables where long enough to reach everywhere. Only down side was that it only has one sata connecter so i could only connect my harddrive and not my DVD drive but you could always buy a molex to sata converter. Over all a very nice shinny psu that is EXTREMLY quiet worth recomending.

Bought this to replace a 300w which wasn't giving me enough power. It arrived within a few days, much earlier than ebuyer said which was brill. Put it into the case and plugged everything in, and it works like a dream. Has two fans for intake and out take which is good. Awesome! 5 stars!
