700W PSU

I've got one of these power supplies, and I cannot fault it at all.

I've got a Intel QX6700 at 3.2 ghz, 4 hardrives, 3xIDE, 1x Sata, also a DVD Writer, running nicely with a 8800 gts.

So its got the power to run just about anything.

Quiet AND Powerful

I purchased this PSU to fit my Aplus case as I intended to fit dual graphics cards, dual SATA2 drives and a Q6600 Quad Core CPU and to run all of those I wanted sufficient power. I would have purchased a case with a PSU already fitted but I found it substantially cheaper to buy seperately and fit myself.

This PSU is very easy to install, provides plenty of watts for any intensive commputung and is, as far as I can tell, totally silent.

Unfortunately it does not come with a mains lead but as they can be bought for just a couple of pounds perhaps that is just nitpicking.

I recommend this PSU for Gamers and serious PC users as it is a perfect balance of power, efficiency and price.

Great supply very quite nice and solid.Has 2 fans plus a fan monitor cable and the main power cable is braided.Only got one PCI 6 pin converter. Also only 2 rails.Good value for a 700watt unit.
Voltages stable at 1.46
3.38
5.03
12.10
and the fans at 1278 and silent.

Sticker
review by: jonathan hawkins os: Windows XP

Nice heavy psu, great quality.
The sticker reads:
+3.3v = 30A
+5v = 38A
+12v1 = 22A
+12v2 = 22A
-12v = 0.6A
+5Vsb = 3A

Hope this helped.

Rarely you get more than what you pay for but in this case the statement is true. Good solid 700wat PSU with dual 12v rails each 22A so will run a high end Quad core system with an 8800gtx with no probs.
I have an athlon 5600x2 and a 8800gts card and lots of drives and this is rock solid with bags of head room. Cables arent modular but wouldnt expect it for this price if your a seasoned system builder should have no probs hiding them. This is pretty quiet even at high load so im well happy with it so far. I had a hiper 530watt for 3 years and its still going strong hopes this is the same..

I just recieved this today. Seems like i got the last one, sorry about that but i needed one hehe.

This is a very quiet PSU, people saying it is not have problems and they need to sort it out.

The one thing that i was worried about with this product was if it was going to fit and if it had the right cables. I had everything right with it which was great!

For this price, it is amazing and it is 700W! I would go for it, if you are thinking about it.

Thanks Ebuyer!

oh and another thing, there is no instruction manuel, so understand how it all fits together in the machine and where the cables connect too first before taking your old one out.

Pete.

Cable length
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

Could anyone tell me the length of the cables that come with this PSU. I have looked on the manufacturers website but could not see anything.

I am looking to buy an antec P180 case that has the power supply at the bottom which requires long cables.

I hope you can help me :) Please write back soon.
