I bought this knowing there were no other reviews, but this seems like a very good power supply. Plenty of power connections and a very quiet fan!

Hopefuly it will last :)

Very pleased with this PSU

I use it with the following

AMD 64 X2 3800 2.0ghz Overclocked to 2.6ghz
2x nvidia 7600gt graphics in SLI setup
2bg ram
4sata HDDs 2x160 1x250 1x250 sataII
Gigabyte Case with 3 fans
1 fan controller
3 additional fans
2x DVD RW

Everything runs like a charm, no problems, great fan that takes air from inside the pc and expels it out of the back of the PC. The wires arranged together and wrapped with a flouresent yello mesh material which keeps the case tidy and it also looks pretty good if are into case modding. The PSU is not very loud at all and for the price....its a really good PSU.

I've had two of these for over a year now. They are nice and quiet and seem very reliable.

Good power supply

I have been using this PSU for 8 months without any problems. The computer, a modestly over clocked core2duo 1.8GHz, is on most of the day and most evenings. The PSU is quiet and has a 120mm fan which sucks air from directly over the CPU. It only has one sata power lead but has six four pin ata ones.

Nice but not silent

This is sure a nice PSU but it is not silent i opened mine up and oiled the fan abit and placed some rubber rings where needed around the fan to lessen the vibrations. However for the price is good and if too loud you can always (like i may do) buy a new fan and connect to the MB so you can control the speed and hence the noise. Bottom line Good value for money quieter than most but not silent!!

Short cable
review by: Ian Gerrard os: Windows XP

This works fine but I found the cable to the motherboard (Asus M2V) only just long enough.

I leave my computer on almost continuously. This was a great product until it crashed and burned after 2 years use....

Not as good as you might think.

I build a lot of systems from entry level jobbies right up to top spec. I was expecting more from this given other reviews and whilst it's got a good whack of power at 500W I wouldn't buy another as it's not all that quiet. The six quid ebuyer value 300W value creates not a lot more noise, so if silence is something you're looking for - buy another PSU.
