Windows XPRecommend this product as previous review said - easy to set up on a wireless network, it searched for one and up popped the one in my house, entered the security code and then went upstairs to pc, put disk in and installed the small pc link programme, picked which folder i wanted the wireless dvd player to access, went downstairs and played my downloaded movies.
Quality was fine, i found i could fast forward through movies slowly but if i increased the fast forward speed it would stop and start buffering, so generally i'd say if you want to use it as part of a wireless network don't expect it to respond as a straight forward dvd would. Saying that i would expect a wired network to be more responsive via ethernet though i haven't tried it. Fact is if you're happy being wired then why bother buying a wireless player, i'm more than happy with what i've seen and my network speed is fairly basic. As well as downloaded/ripped/home camcorder files it will play your music and show pictures (haven't tried these other things yet just tested movies)
Also it will play via usb stick/external hard drive via usb, again not tested that yet but will soon. Doesn't come with hdmi cable so get one if you order, just tested mine with the scart.
It also has an interface which allows you to browse for internet radio stations which was quite good if you like that kinda thing.
All in all very pleased, easy set up, does what it says

Windows XPAn excellent piece of equipment, really easy to set up and run - it took less than 10 minutes from opening the box to viewing something on the TV.
Can handle multiple sources for media across your wired/less network. I haven't found a file type yet that it can't play.

Windows XPGreat little box of tricks!! I had read reviews about this product and was a little unsure about making a purchase. When i received it i plugged it all in loaded some ripped DVD's onto my NAS drive. Hey presto it worked!! The software that comes with the package is very good too. Also the KISS 1600 look very sleek and sexy. What more could you want...
