It works fine
os:
Windows XPAuto picks up a call after 7 ringtones.
Voice prompts all the way throught.
Nothing more than I needed from that phone. Even it can read the time and date for you, when you pass the clock button.
Great

Windows VistaThis is a great piece of kit, especially for 11 quid, I haven't managed to work out the caller id yet but nevermind, answer machine works good, the only thing I can say bad about it, is that when I was testing it by ringing from my mobile, is that when I hung up on my mobile the phone kept ringing for a while afterwards, not a big problem, just annoying if you pick up the phone and no-ones there. But all in all, great phone.
Super Value!

Windows XPStylish phone, easy to set up and use with a great battery life when talking. Infinitely better than the 25 pound Binatone it replaced. Couple of things; 1) be careful replacing phone into cradle - it can fall out if you don't press push it in securely, 2) slight static noise when using handset. Very pleased with phone!!
Excellent phone

Not ApplicableI had a Binatone DECT for many years. Recently it developed a fault that voice became choppy. I saw this DECT phone that has everything I need - especially the number of message display on the basestation. Since the purchase, I have used it for several months. I must say it's so much easier to use than the Binatone. There is only one drawback, it doesn't set its date/time automatically from Calling Line ID as the Binatone. I have to set it manually. Still at 11 Pounds it's a bargain.
Bargain

Not ApplicableThis is a bargain, easy to set up, works a treat. Get one.
Simple and Easy

Not ApplicableBought this the other day and well impressed with the signal range and performance and most importantly the price. A bit plasticy feel to it...but that's what you get when you have it so cheap.
Would definitely recommend.
Answer
I have had no problem at all, it works perfectly.
Answerphone doesn't activate
AOK except that the answerphone does not activate, even when configured 'on' and whatever number of rings I configure - has anyone else experienced a similar problem?
12 quid answerphone
I bought this partly on price, and partly because I don't see any standalone answerphones. I've already got a DECT phone, and won't be replacing it with this, mainly because this one has no headphone jack. As an answerphone it's okay. Probably got what I paid for. The announcements are a bit loud/distorted; the phone answers after 6 rings, with no apparent way of changing that number; and the base unit is meant to be table mounted, whereas I'd prefer a wall unit.
Overall, the gadget seems packed with remote TAM features, and the handset sound quality is good. If I was looking for a cheap phone and didn't mind the base unit, this is a worthwhile purchase.
