Tidy and Quiet PSU
review by: Michael rating:

operating system: Windows Vista

All wires are sleeved with a black mesh sleeving which makes it so much easier to route (and look at!), pretty easy to hide, dedicated lines for SATA, quiet, pretty cheap (cost-wise). SLI compatible
I have 4 CD/DvD drives, 2 IDE drives, and a SATA Raptor in here. Powers all with ease.

Great PSU

This PSU is quiet and powerful, rock solid voltages under serious stress and an impressive 72A on the 12V rails, great value, added 300mhz stable to my overclock, runs very cool. Understated in solid black with black case screws, gives an impression of quiet competence, with performance to match!

Comes with everything it says it dose, 2 PCI-E, 3 SATA. PSU fan dose not need a 3 pin connecter on mobo. cant comment on stability as only brought half a PC, waiting for a bit more money but it works well as have booted but with no GFX card.

GOOD BUT NOT SILENT
review by: MARTIN GORDON rating:
customer rating
operating system: Windows XP

Upgraded from a Nexus 400w unit to enable a Radeon HD4850 to run without witout crashing.

Very quick free delivery, easy installation in my Lian Li case - connectors were sufficiently numerous and wiring tails long enough.

Very stable performance straight out of the box (See loading specs below). If you read internet reviews there is the suggestion that it has the same circuit board and componants as the larger 720w unit and some Zalman PSU's.

There is a noticable increase in fan noise from the Nexus, not a huge ammount but I am fussy and have spent money on quiet fans, accoustic mountings and fan controllers. It is now the loudest fan in my system and I have no way of reducing it's output.

Apart from that, no niggles.

Great psu
review by: Anonymous rating:

operating system: Windows Vista

After reading other peoples coments i thought i would write one.
For starters this psu is quiet its not dead silent, but its not loud either, it gives off a very quiet humming sound and thats just the amount of air its pumping out.
I added a 8800gtx to my system and this psu with its 4 rails handles it easy,i also added 1 fan just incase.
For the price i am totaly pleased with its performance. Great five *.

Installed for my new pc build and it worked like a dream, quiet, but with some fan noise but doesnt bother me at all, very good, nice to look at, comes with more than enough cables. Great price and power and a quality heavy psu, i compared with my old psu from old pc and it weighed a tonne more, shows a good strong build.

Very good fan too, ive kept my pc on all day and temp is good.
