Great value for money!
operating system:
Not ApplicableAs soon as I turned on my computer for the first time after installing it, I noticed a huge difference in the sound, it was 5x quieter than my last 'jet engine' :p (referring to my old PSU)
This product really is value for money. A lot of power for a smaller price. It's not like the other models which are more expensive just for a fancy design, which isn't going to improve my performance much.
Also, don't be put off by your GFX Card manufacturer telling you to get the models they say, they just do that to pursuede you to buy the more expensive models so they can get a fraction of the price from the manufacturer, which have no doubt already spent quite a bit of money to become a recommended brand.
Great PSU FOR GREAT PRICE!!
operating system:
Windows XPBought one of these psu. After installing into my new setup. All of my pc parts was working much Faster compare to before.
Bag it before its too late.
Also has alot of connectors!
Loud but usable
operating system:
Not ApplicableYou get what you pay for with this PSU. Sure, its quite noisy but, it does the job and has plenty of connectors.
I too hate to think how noisy the other users 'jet engine' PSU was.
This product only gets 4*'s due to the noise. If building a media center PC, go for a more expensive quieter unit.
Being used to quite a noise from my old PC, this PSU offerd me value for money. I can always replace this part at a later date with a more expenive quieter supply.
Not that quiet
operating system:
Windows XPOK, it's 600W and it's a bargain, but it's not quieter than my two other PCs. I know it's not useful info just like the one before me, for whom the unit was quieter than other units. but let me tell you this:
I am not happy to use it in media center pc (for which I bought it) it's too loud for that.
other than the noise, it's a nice unit. Oh yeah it has ONE SATA, it's in the spec but the title can be confusing, it refers to 2 not so quiet fans
Loud!
If this was quieter than that guy's "Jet Engine" then I hate to think how loud his other one was, must have had to wear ear plugs or something.
Sure this is really cheap for the power u get but after a few months the noise is driving me nuts!
results
+3.3V: 28 Amp, +5V: 34 Amp, +12V: 14 Amp, 5V: 0.5 Amp, 12V: 0.8 Amp, 5Vsb: 2 Amp.
Not so great PSU
operating system:
Windows XPWell , 600W for under a 20 quid might sound like a deal .
But ... it struggles to power new graphic cards ... if u got anything above NV 8600GT forget it . PSU is not the thing to be saved on. It performs well on low-end machines but thats about it . Noise levels standard but it doesnt mean silent . Cables could be a bit longer.
You get what you pay for really

Guy wanting to know why his FPS are low
Dude.
Youd be better of getting a newer mobo with 1066 ram.
I got a Asus M3N78-CM, Athlon 5200+ MSI 4650 and get better than 50 FPS
Power Rails Specs
Can anybody tell me what the ampage is for the +3.3v, +5v and +12v power rails and how +12v power rails does it have?
