Worth getting the widescreen

Not ApplicableUsed this TT One XL on a 3 week holiday driving around Europe. Brilliant!!!
I cannot stress how relaxing it made the driving for me. No more reading every road sign looking for the correct turning, the TomTom tells you when. I could relax knowing I was still X number of miles away.
Not once did it let me down or take me the wrong way, it was perfect!
Points of interest came in very handy for finding fuel, a phamacy and accomodation as well as for sightseeing trips.
The wider screen is so much easier to live with than the standard version, makes it a lot clearer to use and worth the extra.

Not ApplicableI have had many Sat navs in my time, and this is one of the ones that come out in the top 5, its so easy and have a huge mapping for when you go on holiday !, I cant fault it one bit and ever since my driving has been so much more relaxed, no more wondering where to turn off, just listen to the thing speak !
Not Bad but not brilliant

Windows XPI decided to go for this rather than the 720 as I already have a IPOD connexion in my car and hands free calling.
I have used Tom Tom's before and this is just as straightforward to use. However it is not a killer application in any way shape or form but does do what it says on the tin. The big screen was the deciding factor but as I go into my 40s find that I need things to be further away!
The map is already out of date so interested to see how the new technology posts out.
My one gripe is about the windscreen holder which is obviously not designed to be left when the Sat Nav is removed saying that it does reduce the risk of theft!

Totally lives upto its reputation. Made my holidays in scotland so much stress free. Camera database upadtes also spots temporary speed cameras. Totally worth its price !
