First of all, this is one of the best headsets I've ever tried out. The sound quality is of top quality, as expected.
That goes without saying, so here are the cool bits:
Cool feature is the detachable mic, which comes in handy if your drinkin' your coffee to keep those gaming hours going. It's useful too if your not playing with a clan or playing singleplayer.
The mic also seems to be perfectly adjusted/calibrated out the box, so pretty much no need to configure the volume/volume detection which is nice.
Lots of squishy padding to make it nice and snug, but beware the ear pads are for the smaller sized ear, so you guys and gals with larger ears may find they might start to hurt.

Not ApplicableI'll start this review by saying I've maintained a healthy scepticism when it comes to Fatal1ty's products; I don't usually hold with celebrity endorsements of any kind, and a Doom champion selling PC components seemed a tad odd to me. But as it happened, I needed a new headset so thought I'd give this one a try.
I was actually laughing with joy as I unboxed it and plugged it all in. Everything is so well thought-out. The cables are plenty long, easily long enough to reach under the desk to the back of my tower without being a trip hazard, and while I was wary about the in-line volume controls which always bug me, this one is pretty unobtrusive as they go and sits at around belly button level. The wire and volume control (which also has an on/off toggle for the mic) seemed a bit plasticky but after some use, the quality isn't a problem.
Another great thing which the product descriptions don't mention is that it comes with a faux (but quite convincing) Creative-branded leather carry bag with draw pull. Nifty
As for the headset itself, ignore what previous posters have said, I for one have huge ears and the headset fits very snugly. The cushioned pads on the earpieces and headband are very comfortable indeed, and perfectly angled. The detachable mic is great, would have been even more ideal if it fit into either earpiece but it only goes into the left. It's a standard 3.5mm plug too, so if your PC is on your desk it could sensibly go right into the front panel mic input. As other people have said, setup is barely necessary, the mic seems perfectly adjusted - although I did have a moment of panic when I wasn't getting any sound initially, until I realised the inline volume was turned all the way down. My ears subsequently got a shock when I turned it up too quickly.
On the subject sound quality, it's obviously a Creative Labs product. The clarity is amazing, bass levels very rich and distortion-free, and doubtless with some help from all the padding, it's utterly inaudible to anyone sat next to you. And it's drowning out my housemate's vacuuming as I write.
In short, this is a perfect headset for both gaming and music, and insanely great for the price.
P.S. I'm in the market for a new motherboard too as it happens, and will definitely be looking into the Fatal1ty boards first.

Microphone Quality
One Thing i want to add after buying this is that,
Yeah the Sound Quality is Kick Ass, but the microphone is so good the quality all my mates are jealous not telling them were i got it and for 24 Pound well, a great Buy

Windows Vistathis is a great headset, the sound quality is great and the mic is so good quality and it is modified straight out of the box so no need for any setting changing!!! the only niggling thing is the head phones are for the smaller eared people so sorry big eared people try els where......

Not ApplicableI got these headphones as a christmas present and the sound quality is astounding!
Just to give you some idea, i was playing Fable and i ran through some water and then i stopped and listen to everything around me and i was amazed by how real it sounded on these headphones.
I didn't usually take sound into consideration when gaming, but since i got these headphones, i will do ALOT more
I haven't tried the mic yet, but i'm sure the quality is just as amazing =)

oh yh .. the headset is perfectly comfy with velvet ear cups and a velvet cusion for the top of your head. sound is absolutely unreal .. the drivers are out of this world :)

Very comfortable and great sound quality with a good mic - which is conveniently detacheable and very very bendy!
Easily the best headset I've had so far and very reasonably priced.
I'd recommend it to anyone, apart from those with big ears as the cups are a tight fit. Apart from that it's great.
