I bought the hannspree tv for £310 but it didnt have freeview... so i went online and bought this for £40 and I got to say its fantastic it plugs in the back of my LCD and you cant see it. It has a full program guide so you can easily see whats coming on tv.

You get loads more channels than standard TV...

I even bought one for my nan who was worried about having to buy a new TV - now she doent have to..

It was easy to set up..

Thanks ebuyer..

This unit works great provided you have good digital reception. Psu is supplied. Picture breaking up or freezing generally denotes bad reception? there is a section in setup menu, where you can turn on or off aerial power, i'm not sure if this is a built in aerial amplifier.

Switching to Digital
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

Hi, just to dispell a few myths about switching over to digital... you probably wont need a new digital aerial or new tv, if you are getting a good anaolgue signal now you should be able to get a good digital signal, you will need a Freeview box, integrated tv or satalite (Sky)to receive your digital signal, but bear in mind at the moment, you wont get the full digital signal through your analogue aerial until your area switches off the analogue signal. The Bigrigg transmitter in Copeland is the first to switch off, I'll let you know how we get on.

TV Arial

Try this first with your arial, if you get bad reception with it, all you have to do is upgrade to a high-gain arial.

No Bad unit but watch Remote Control

I cannot fault the unit although it gets a bit hot. Easy intuitive menu just as well as zero instructions. I am in a weak signal area so needed to add a wide band aerial and booster, I like the way it fits into the Scart socket and is out of the way.
One point of caution however is the remote control the favourites, zero and the alt buttoms do not work. I am still awaiting a response back from Ebuyer about a replacement, currently past their promised 2 business days for a response.
