Excellent PSU

I've always wanted a modular PSU, but wasn't prepared to pay the £60+ that they normally cost.

When my 500W PSU started throwing fits and dying on me I needed to get another one, and came across this little beauty.

It's excellent, The cables all come in black.. that's black plastic connectors as well as black braiding on the wires.

Each of the molex cables can connect 3 devices. and you also get cables for SATA, PCI-e, and fans..

My set up only required 4 cables to be plugged in (and that includes the two required for the MOBO)

so the extra two powers my 2 HDD, DVD-RW, Graphics card, and 4 fans..)

with the extra fan in the PSU, and enhanced air flow.. my rig is running 2 degs cooler..

Well done Ebuyer..

I bought one of these as my previous one started to die because of severe volt modding. Anyway, I was one of the very few people who bought this when it first came into stock here as it was modular although there wasnt much information or even pictures around about this PSU. But at that time it only cost £24 due to google check out, so i tried my luck. Although the PSU is a winpower, and doesnt have all the extras... for the price youve got braided cables, modular, and a 120mm fan what can go wrong. So I decided to paint the PSU black plugged it into my PC and as I've said, 4 months now and still a great performer. I did use a power consumption meter once to check its drawing the power that is needed exactly as you'd expect, otherwise a pure technical review cant be done without proper expensive equipment.. but who needs that lol

Its running my system
e4400 OC'd @ 3.2ghz
7900gtx
3 Hard disks 1 DVD drive
And all the other bits and bobs

For the price point.. I give it 5 stars, although there are those branded PSU's which you can argue is better.. but for sub £30... i think it deserves plaudits

Decided to take a chance on one of these and I am very glad I did. Amazingly quiet with very stable voltages throughout, easily better than the noisy Coolermaster 650w model it replaced.

Top marks from me for this one.

Not a bad PSU for the money, it’s quiet and the cable modular system works well. The make I received was a TrendSonic.

Just like everyone else says, this is fantastic value.
No instructions or extras included. Just the psu with a selection of cables. But these do including SATA connections and extra fan connections.

My last PSU was supposed to be "high quality" and "silent". So when it died, I was rather annoyed as it only lasted 2 years. So i bought this one as I couldnt afford another 80 quid. When I plugged this one in, my first thought was that it wasnt even working! It was THAT quiet! Far quieter than my last one which cost more than twice as much!

OK, so its just aluminium coloured, but the braided cables keep it neat, and you wont hear a thing! Definitly recommended!

Great PSU

I've always wanted a modular PSU but they've been so expensive, then along comes this unit.... It has everything you will need for a mid to high end PC. The twin rails will supply enough juice for 2 PCIe cards in sli - ok were not talking GTX's but then would you spend 600 quid on two cards and then 30 on your PSU - no, it's all relative.

This unit is deadly quiet and a sinch to install and you only have to plug in the leads you need, no extra cables being hitched up and poked here and there to hide them. A great buy and top value for your hard earned cash.

What a nice piece of kit, it is manufactured by Sumvision and has everything I need to power my new budget gaming rig. I had cables left over after installation ( which is ok!! ) so even if you are bunging insane amounts of hardware in the case you should be fine.

The dual rail feature is good if you want to SLI your graphics cards and will safely power all but the GTX's paired up, but then if you are wacking out 600 quid on two GTX's would you be spending only 30 notes on a PSU......... I don't think so.

It is as quiet as a doormouse and that's all you need really, a quality product for budget gamers / modders with a little future proofing thrown in for good measure.

It Powers:

Gigabyte M57SLI-S4 Mobo

AMD 5600+ AM2 OEM CPU

AC Freezer Pro 64

Gigabyte 8800GT 512 Graphics Card

WD 80Gb HDD SataII

Sammy 500Gb HDD SataII

Sammy SH-D162C DVD Rom

Panasonic 112DBLK DVD RW

2x Case Fans

All that with cables to spare - superb and all ordered right here on Ebuyer ( except the Sammy DVD rom )

This is superb value for money at a third of the price of equivalent branded products. It has all the cables you'll need and it powers my PC without any problems - E6600, 640MB 8800GTS, 2 DVD drives, 2 hard drives. Another important feature is that it's very quiet indeed. Don't believe the scare-mongers who tell you that any cheap PSU will blow up your PC. They're just trying to justify the extra £60 they wasted.

It doesn't come with any of the little touches that more expensive PSUs might have - there's no fancy paint job, no screws, no instructions and no mains lead - but at this price, who cares?

My Hiper 480w PSU died just after i came back from holiday and my local computer shops wanted £70-£80 for a replacement 550w with all the needed connectors. Ordered this on next day delivery, normal instalation and it works perfect (and is really really quiet). Best thing is it its 650w and cost £40 with next day delivery, would be a few quid cheaper if you could way for the standard delivery, i couldn't. 5/5 from me dont let the price put you off.
