Having never used one of these before i thought i tried getting one.. its very handy as i checked the spec and it does so many functions.. Paying that extra £10 more sounds a bargain (these were £75 to a £100 beginning of the year) considering it does xvid and dvix mp3. Compared to the likes of philips and other brands this is very very GOOD PRICE.. Its the best buy i have found on the net! 5 star for best deal smart move Ebuyer Keep it up!

Impressive litte frame

I'll keep this short:

+ It looks much better than the image- it's a matt black frame with a perspex surround, and a white surround included if you prefer.

+A little warning, when you open a source (USB or SD) it scans/indexes everything. I had 5000+ files on my USB stick, and it just sat for 10 minutes loading, until i gave up. So don't go nuts with how much you put on.

+This picks up all deleted/system files so you'll need to use Eraser (google it, it's freeware) or something to clean your USB/SD when you delete stuff, or else it'll keep showing up.

Highly recommend this frame, I bought this for my dad, but I'm thinking of buying another for myself. Not even tested the audio/video capabilities yet.

Great picture and video playback

I was really impressed with the image quality of this photo frame. The resolution looks low on paper, but with good quality photos it looks perfect from a normal viewing distance. Video playback is smooth and crisp, it works with mpeg2 divx and xvid.

I prepare photos for 16:9 using 'ImageCropper' and resize video using 'Super'. There's no point using max res files so I reduce them to the actual pixel size.

The frame aspect is 16:9, but 480/234 (not 16:9) non-square pixels. To achieve the correct aspect when displayed, crop photos to 480/269 pixels.

Sumvision 7" digital photo frame
review by: Anonymous os: Windows XP

ok, i looked around for a lot of photo frames. U have to admit this must be the deal of the day. It has all the capabilities required, does dvix and mp3 as well, and normally for those extra features u would expect to pay a lot more, picture quality is excellent and very well presented. Its not the cheapest on the market i.e. the below £30 mark, but for that extra £10 or so.. u get a much more fab deal!

highly recommended!

Will be buying a few more as presents!

This really is another excellent quality item from Ebuyer - so easy to use. My daughters on an art course where they use digital cameras, very relaxing way to peruse her work! If you need one of these stop wasting time looking & just buy this one at this price!

Portrait pics can be displayed. The picture quality is very good. The portrait pics are displayed in the centre of the screen with a black boarder on the left and right of the pic which looks nice. The portrait pics are not stretched to fit the screen and they look fine. Landscape pics are obviously better though because they fit the whole screen.

The sound is of good quality. You need to press menu on the remote twice to select whether to play videos or music, took me a while to work that out. Instructions are included but that's no fun ;)

USB keys are supported.

1st thing 1st, this model is superb. It plays the divx movies and slide screen. I checked many of similar models none of them come close to the price with so many functions! The likes of phillips, kodak etc its so over priced for what u are getting! this has to be a gem!! I be buying a few more as its nice present for the my grandma- she would love to see the slide shows and the young - my nephew would love this hes likes to laze about and watch movies! This is great I think its the best xmas present, not too pricey either!
