Great device

Windows XPComes with mini-USB to USB male cable, and UK mains adapter for 5v power. Good price even without the Bluetooth dongle. Well made, BUT, it's not 3 Port, it's 4, one of which can be occupied by the dongle. AND, the gallery pictures don't show the mini-USB and power ports. So it's more than it says on the tin....

The description suggests this can be used to connect my notebook via Bluetooth with a USB printer, scanner, or external hard drive. This is not the case.
What you get is a 4 port powered USB hub with a 2.5A 5V power supply and a USB 2 mini-USB cable - plus a Bluetooth adapter.
The thing shown in the picture has three USB ports in the 'bottom' side, and a power plug and mini-USB plug in the 'short' side. It needs to be connected to a computer, and software needs to be installed on that computer for it to work.
There is a comprehensive Bluetooth software suite included, by IVT BlueSoleil - go to www.ivtcorporation.com to learn more about BlueSoleil for Windows. There is another site at www.bluesoleil.com, where the newest version 6 can be bought for 19euro95 -
approx. 16GBP, although there is also mention of an upgrade from previous versions for 5euro - 4GBP.
In my humble opinion, Ebuyer have no idea what a gem they have on their shelves, would do well to read the manual on the enclosed mini-cd, and expand the product description page.

Try finding drivers or the Bluetooth adapter for Windows Vista 64bit.
Works a treat in XP.
More a Microsoft/Vista issue then a Cable and Wireless issue, but be aware.

Windows XPI have bought this product with not much of enquiry. Actually they did not make things clear.
I bought this prodcut under the impression that the USB - HUB will serve as Blue tooth usb hub, that is not the case.
what this product contains is Bluetooth dongle and a 4 port usb hub.
it was a disappoint for me ... i thought i could connect my hard drive bluetoothly to computer ... that would not happen.
i have already have a blue tooth dongle this would be another extra bluetooth dongle.
at the end it is mixed response.
I needed few extra usb drive this would fit for this..
overall i would rate this product slightly misleading....
does this work with VISTA?
any ideas on how to make this device work with VISTA? Cheers
