You've never seen a card that uses those strange little sockets until now!

This is a great product. Built a new system to use Vista 64, but my old sound card could not cope. Thought I would try this, and I am absolutely delighted I did.

This is the first card I have come across that makes use of those new little PCI express slots, which is great as it leaves the PCI slots for other things. This card paired with a set of Logitech speakers makes a great sound, and still costs less than other cards out there.

Just bought this off ebuyer thought I would give a pci xpress x-fi card a go, for 26 quid it is awesome, 7.1 sound optical in's & outs and it sounds fantastic such a worthwhile upgrade, lovely software and drivers under vista too. dont buy the retail version get this! oem rules!

Good Quality

Had this running on Vista Home Premium for over a week - drivers are stable and the sound output is excellent coupled with these:

Make sure to set up the graphic equaliser in the admin program for optimal sound.

Got this card to replace my onboard AC'97 audio as this was experiencing difficulties under Vista (audio glitches). The SoundBlaster is working great and no issues whatsoever under Vista....even with default MS drivers. Glad I bought this.

Just what I needed, and at the right price!

I installed Vista some months ago and had to revert to onboard sound card, because the PCI sound card install was not fully support for Vista. I have also recently used up my spare PCI slot and the only one left was the PCI express slot, this sound card solved my problem. There was no problems with installing the card and the supporting drivers and software. I have two hard drives, one with Vista and the other with XP Media and the sound card works well on both OS. And the price, well what can one say!!!!!!!

Really good card with good support from vista drivers now. Not as good as the gamer version but u can really tell the difference between this and onboard sound.

Thought your on-board sound was good?

Well it's not. Get one of these and enter a whole new world of sound. Creative software is bloaty and slow to load (as usual), but gives you loads of options to tailor your listening pleasures to a very high degree.

Using mine with an old but excellent Altec ADA885 4.1 THX speaker system and have stopped using my expensive Aiwa hi-fi for music as it sounds crap in comparison.

This is really good value as you get a huge 'bang for your buck'. First PCI-express hardware I have used (apart from graphics cards).... wouldn't notice anything different, except that this is the first Creative card that has not caused a FPS drop in gaming.

OEM is all you need, but it is the card and disc just jiffy-bagged. The first came crushed by the PO, but was quickly replaced by ebuyer.

All in all, no real bad points...get one!

I use Vista 64bit and this soundcard works perfectly fine.. the only niggle I'd have is that theirs no Bass & Treble & Game settings under the Creative Console Launcher..

It was a doddle to fit I had it in my pc in 5 mins from opening the package it came in.

All my games have a new lease of life I hear sounds that weren't present before. If you've got onboard sound then disable it. Then get a soundcard u can't go wrong with this. If you're on a tight budget like me then this the one to get. I've this soundcard paired with Logitech X-540 5.1 speakers and they work a treat together.

I have recently purchased this sound card for my new surround-sound system and I must say; it is Superb.

The delivery was fast, great compatibility with the Vista drivers.

The sound quality compared to that of my On-board drivers is great.

Highly recommended for the price!
