The greatest 400/500 Watt PSU just got better
This power supply is outstanding, I have used seasonics power supplies since 2003, The S12-430 and 330 were my favourites, but these new S12II models and everything that the older models had and more. Its unbeleiveable how efficent Seasonics power supplies are. I'd say one of the leaders in the game and they are always offering value for money, they are on the cheapest but you cannot go wrong with a seasonic.
Sweet
operating system:
Windows XPThis baby's currently juggling an overclocked Q6600, 1 ide hdd, 2 optical drives, a p5b deluxe and a x1950 pro and it hasn't exploded! It says certified for Pentium 4 but I say certify it for core 2 quad!
Every single molex is used up, and there are molex splitters in my setup but no problems yet.

If you want a (near) silent system you can't go much wrong with Seasonic PSUs. If you were thinking of buying the more expensive Cosair models you should probably know that Seasonic also make the majority of those on sale here at Ebuyer (so unless you really want a 5yr warranty/modular PSU there's little point... save the money)
And if your worried about the power rating, the vast majority of systems won't go above 300W even at full load.

Hope that helps
Seasonic S12 II 430W PSU
operating system:
Windows XPJust received this PSU within 24 hours of ordering (Thank you ebuyer). Only took ten minutes to fit, replacing a noisy Chieftec 360W.
First impressions are very good. The PSU is virtually silent and all the wires are neatly wrapped in webbing for a pleasing install.
Summary - outstanding PSU and whisper quiet to go with it.
Probably the nicest looking PSU I've seen...
operating system:
Not ApplicableAnd a solid performer too.
I've got it running an Athlon 5000 system with 2GB Ram, 2 HD's, optical drive, etc.
I do miss one feature of the Antec TruePower 380 it replaced, though - that PSU had some nifty low power "fan only" molex connectors, that I'd come to depend on to keep the noise down. I had to change my rear fan and disconnect the one on my drives, to get the noise back down.
