This is £30 cheaper than the same modular version.
This is a very very good PSU.
Can go on about it but will let you read the review.
Suffice to say this is very quiet you will not heard it unless you are closer than one feet to it. Buy one you will not regret it.
It supports Active Power Factor Correction (A-PFC) which improves efficiency, reduces heat and uses less power making it GREEN.

Fantastic PSU
review by: Nick Winfield os: Windows XP

A breeze to install with clear instructions supplied. Had my PC up and running in less than 10 minutes. The product is very quiet and is more than capable of powering my modest spec with no complaints whatsoever.

I got this to power a new graphics card, since the old psu was a puny 200w. This looks impressive and is quiet. It is lucky there was plenty of room in the computer case, since the psu is like a medusa head -- lots of snaky cables.

There was a brief worry since the motherboard connector has 4 more sockets than does my old budget Acer motherboard, which had a transistor in the way. I gently bent the transistor to the side, and everything seems to work.

Very easy to install. 500W with 34A on the +12V rails. Good for new graphics cards. Also, very quiet!

Great buy.

Ordered 1am Monday morning (Sunday night) after installing a backup PSU after my Hiper PSU died suddenly, and it arrived on Wednesday morning even with the free super-saver delivery option (expected it to arrive by the following Monday).

easy to install and has plenty of 4-pin molex connectors (9), plus 6 for SATA devices and a few more which I don't need so have kept them tied together with the black cable-tie that came with it.

the motherboard connector has 4 more pins that my motherboard needs, but the 4 extra pins can be unclipped and folded out of the way, as they are on a separate "module".

Thanks Ebuyer!

This PSU is unbelievable. Not a sound from it. In fact, once I'd installed it, the only thing I could hear were my HDDs working! I've a AMD 5200 X2 with a X1950 Pro, 2Gb RAM, 2 HDD's, memory card reader, SATA DVD RW and a few peripherals being powered by the USB port and all runs very smoothly. My earlier unbranded 550W was struggling with the GPU in place so I had to remove it, but this beauty powers it all easily. There are lots of molex, SATA and PCIe power connections. However, I am using a mATX case due to limited living space, and the extra cables are all crammed in there a bit. Now I'm going to have to get an ATX case to improve the airflow, but my temperatures haven't rocketed, just gone up by 1-2 degrees.

Ordered on Friday, along with a printer and USB cable and selected free delivery as I wasn't in a rush, but they all arrived first thing Monday mornning! Superb!

Seasonic are in my opinion the best power supply Manufacturer in the world. This is no doubt why some other PSU brands have their leading models built by Seasonic.

Over the years Seasonic have produced some of the best power supplies ever available, you will find that Seasonic is everywhere, Many corperate system builders have used Seasonic as a number one choice in powering systems.

Another great low wattage series, Thank you Seasonic!!

just bought this to replace my current (unbranded) PSU, was a bit sketchy at first on buying a psu that costs so much, but have to say im glad i did. it is quite and i have noticed a much better performance on my machine. i currently got a BSOD with my old psu and i have had this for 2months and not a single BSOD. all in all i recommend it.

This product is amazing, it's very very silent.

Easy to install and lots of connectors.

I've been running it for a week now and I enjoy hearing my Hard Drives working :p

My original PSU came with the case and I really wasn't that impressed with it.

If you need one, buy Seasonic

(I don't work for them by the way)
