High quality.

I've had two of these now and an HDMI>HDMI of the same make.

It's thick and heavy, the ends are well constructed and it could be sold for twice the price easily.

I don't think you can get quality loss because the signal is digital, so I can't really comment on that. Not sure if it works with sound on the ATI HD cards because I haven't tried it yet, but I believe it should from what I've read.

About audio...
review by: Anonymous os: Windows Vista

DVI cables don't carry audio (as they are primarily used for PC monitors) - so you won't get any audio out of this cable.

HD4870
review by: Anonymous os: Windows Vista

Be warned, I bought this cable and although I could get picture on my HDTV from my HD4870 card, I couldnt get audio.

Apparently you need to use the adaptor that comes with the HD4870 and then a normal HDMI cable to run from adaptor to HDTV.
