Great little box

Windows XPJust to say it's a good little box and cheap , and its solid built all metal and not plastic , A must buy if you only have one hdmi socket on your lcd tv !!

Not ApplicableDoes not autoswitch which used to be suggested in the description. The remote is a little cheap, but it certainly does the job connecting my HDMI equipped XBox 360, PS3 and Sky HD box to my TV with no issues. Solid metal construction.
Five Stars since it's the cheapest I could find.

Not ApplicableMy Brand new shiny LCD TV as arrived and silly me didnt check how many HDMI ports it had before i bought it... I have a PS3 and a HD DVD player so couldnt have both plugged in together. After a few days of getting sick of swapping the cable over i took the plunge and bought this. Excellent idea now i can have upto 3 HDMI devices plugged in and switch betwen them using the neat remote control.

In responce to the last persons comment about quality. I have one of these and can confirm that there is no loss in quality in comparison to plugging a HDMI device straight into TV HD Ports. Tested with my 360 Elite and works flawlessly.

I have just installed PC (HDMI), Freeview (HDMI) and Playstation3 (HDMI) all through to an LG Flatron Widescreen 24" Monitor. 2 minutes to connect it all up - worked first time - excellent picture quality on all 3 sources.
Excellent construction - metal box, signal selector switch on front as well as power on/off. Nice to have remote as well.
For the money - quite simply brilliant!
This also meant that my selection of the right monitor display didn't have to be confined to a limited selection with multi HDMI inputs - Best screen AND three inputs ... now remotely controlled ;o)
Does what it ways

Not ApplicableUsing with Sky HD & Sage HD100 extender into a Samsung LCD TV - no problems.
Have also taught my Harmony 885 the codes and now everything switches perfectly with one button press on the Harmony - good stuff.
Why pay silly prices?

Windows XPCheap but not nasty,does the job well.Can't understand why anyone would pay some of the ridiculous prices for the auto switching ones,out on the market is beyond me.So easy to install and foolproof.
Exactly what is required
Very good build quality, metal solid case and nice small remote. Can be used from front switch as well as remote and most universal remotes should learn the IR signal. Couple this with some HDMI cables from ebuyer at less than 3GBP each and its a bargain. Dont forget you need 1 cable from your TV to the switch and then 1 cable from each device to the switch, 4 in total. No quality loss and fast switching. Supposed to have an auto mode but couldn't find any reference to this in the instruction sheet. Its a good bargain when a 2 port switch is 50GBP with just 1 cable from Argos.
